Lynch Corporation, Seaview District – Executive Office.

Tyrone finished his last meeting of the day and strode out of the conference room.

“Clear my schedule for the next two days,” he instructed as he passed his assistant.

“The next two days?” Felix looked confused. “Mr. Lynch, you already have the following two days completely free. Are you planning to take your vacation early, or…?”

Tyrone stopped, fixing Felix with a steady look. “I worked hard to finish everything ahead of time so I could take some time off. Are you suggesting I should use it to do more work?”

Felix flushed and ducked his head. “Of course not, sir. I wouldn’t dare…”

A faint smile tugged at Tyrone’s lips. Four days off still didn’t seem like enough. “Add my annual leave to it.”

Felix winced but nodded. Tyrone was the boss—what he said, went.

“Mr. Lynch, is this for a business trip or something personal? Should I come along?” Felix’s question was naïve, but then again, no one had ever seen his boss date anyone before.

Tyrone shot him a withering look. “I’m going on my honeymoon. Why on earth would I want you tagging along?”

Felix’s jaw dropped. He had to swallow his surprise before he could compose himself again. Suddenly, Felix realized Tyrone might be in deeper than anyone suspected.

Not only that—his boss was hopelessly, and a little bit spitefully, in love.

“I’ll be leaving early today,” Tyrone added, glancing at the clock. He needed to pick Alicia up from the restaurant.

“Yes, sir.”

Tyrone picked up his phone, intending to text Alicia, but instead a string of photos popped up from Nicole.

Nicole’s message dripped with smug satisfaction. “Tyrone, look at this! Alicia claimed she was going to a class reunion, but she snuck off early just to meet Vincent. Clearly, there are still feelings between them! She’s cheating on you with Vincent!”

Tyrone’s eyes darkened as he scrolled through the photos. For a moment, he wondered aloud, “When did I even add Nicole’s number?”

Felix, thinking the question was directed at him, shrugged helplessly. “I have no idea.”

Tyrone nodded, saved the photos, and promptly blocked Nicole’s number.

It didn’t take long for Jade’s message to pop up. “Tyrone, Nicole just called me in tears. She said you blocked her. Grandpa asked you to look after her in Seaview City. Isn’t this a bit much?”

After a brief pause, Tyrone blocked Jade as well.

Felix watched all this with growing confusion. His boss’s actions completely baffled him.

He had to admit, he owed Nicole for being so quick to send those photos—if only because it let him get here in time.

“Need a ride?” Tyrone rolled down the window.

A flash of surprise lit up Alicia’s eyes, followed by a genuine smile as she climbed in.

Relief washed over Tyrone. She didn’t seem rattled by her run-in with Vincent—her mood was still bright.

“What are you doing here?” Alicia asked, surprised.

“Not going to your class reunion after all?” Tyrone deflected.

Alicia’s expression fell a bit, and she nodded quietly.

“Let’s go home, then.” Tyrone reached over and gently ruffled her hair, as if to comfort her.

It was odd—when she was upset, just a simple gesture from Tyrone seemed to ease the ache inside.

Back home, Tyrone stepped into the kitchen and cooked dinner for Alicia himself. He never even mentioned her meeting with Vincent that day.
