Chapter Summary: Chapter 320 – Rich Radiant and Over Him (Alicia and Vincent) by Laura

In Chapter 320, a key moment in the Romance novel Rich Radiant and Over Him (Alicia and Vincent), Laura delivers powerful storytelling, emotional shifts, and critical plot development. This chapter deepens the reader’s connection to the characters and sets the stage for upcoming revelations.

The man in charge glanced at the video of Brandon. “Sir, he said the child’s been taken care of.”

Brandon’s satisfaction was obvious. “Get rid of him.”

Now that the real Nicole was dead, he could finally rest easy. As long as this man was out of the picture, no one would ever discover that he’d murdered Nicole’s biological parents all those years ago.

As soon as the call ended, the ringleader sneered, reaching for a length of rope. He meant to string the lunatic up from the rafters and make it look like a suicide.

After all, who would care if a mental patient died? No one would even bat an eye.

He looped the rope around the rafter, and the man watched, wide-eyed, as the so-called madman was about to be hanged.

But at that critical moment, Sean Quinn arrived with backup, saving the man just in time.

Brandon’s henchmen didn’t stand a chance—Chester and the other officers quickly subdued them.

“Murder!” Chester barked, pinning one of the men to the floor.

“I was just worrying I didn’t have any concrete evidence against Brandon, and here you are, serving it up on a silver platter. So eager to tie up loose ends, aren’t you?” Sean Quinn smirked, giving the leader’s face a light slap before taking his phone. He unlocked it with facial recognition and scrolled through the messages.

Sure enough, there was contact with Brandon, but nothing that could be used as hard evidence. “Brandon sent you here to kill, didn’t he? Come on, out with it—what’s the real reason?”

The ringleader kept up the act. “It was my idea to get rid of this nutjob. He’s just a lunatic who crossed me.”

Sean Quinn looked at the man they’d just saved from being hanged. “If we hadn’t shown up, you’d be dead right now. Still not willing to talk?”

The guy on the floor abruptly started faking a seizure, thrashing and convulsing.

He’d never confess. Talking meant certain death. He’d already killed two people…

“Send him back to the psych ward, and take the rest into custody,” Chester said to Sean Quinn. “They won’t spill that easily. It’s hard enough to prove a decades-old case as it is—we’ll just have to find a way to make them talk.”

Sean Quinn nodded. “I’ll leave this one to you.”

He knew the madman would never admit the real Nicole was still alive. Otherwise, Brandon would make sure none of them lived to regret it.

Thankfully, Alicia was still safe, her identity undiscovered—for now.

Alicia couldn’t help but find it all a bit ridiculous. Once upon a time, Vincent had treated Mina like she was a precious treasure. Now, he looked like he couldn’t wait to shove her as far away as possible.

The irony was almost laughable.

Vincent hurried over, eager to speak. “Alicia…”

She didn’t acknowledge him, making it crystal clear she wanted nothing to do with him.

Vincent really was something. He’d taken her for granted when she was his, but now that she belonged to someone else, he was haunted by regrets and longing.

“Vin!” Mina snapped, a flash of anger in her eyes. She’d been hoping to use Vincent’s guilt to patch things up between them—maybe even rekindle some feelings by playing the victim. She never expected to run into both Alicia and Tyrone here.

“Let’s go,” Alicia said, tugging on Tyrone’s arm.

She knew what was coming next—Vincent would find some way to sneer at Tyrone.

“Maddox, I can’t believe they kicked you out of Lynch Corporation already. I really don’t get it… The company wouldn’t even exist if it weren’t for you.” Vincent looked at Tyrone, genuine regret in his voice.
