“Easton’s just a clueless kid! Give him control of Lynch Corporation and the place will go down in flames!” The boardroom echoed with criticism as senior executives began openly attacking Easton.

With the company in turmoil, everyone was walking on eggshells, worried about their own positions.

“Easton is Patriarch Maddox Lynch’s chosen successor. Are you really planning to defy him by saying this?” someone shot back.

“Tyrone’s dead! And even if he were alive, he’d have been pushed out of the company by now. Why should we keep listening to him?” Natalia strode into the room, her voice cold and commanding. “Easton is the only heir. Whether you want to hand over control or not, you’re going to.”

With that, Natalia gestured for Easton to take the head seat at the table.

Easton sat down without a word, letting Natalia do all the talking for him.

“While Easton was away at school, I was the one overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations,” Natalia said, looking pointedly at those around her.

At this, the old guard left by Tyrone erupted in protest.

“Having a housekeeper’s daughter on the management team? This is absurd. The old man trained us to support the executives—not to run the show ourselves!” someone shouted, standing up in anger. “This is lunacy! If Mr. Lynch insists on this, then I have no choice but to resign!”

“Threatening us with your resignation? Fine. Go ahead. HR, give Mr. Mathew an extra six months’ severance for all I care,” Easton said, rising to defend Natalia.

By now, most saw Easton as an incompetent pushover, a lost cause.

His words sent several executives storming out, slamming the table in outrage.

No sooner had Easton left than several executives turned to Natalia, beaming. “Congratulations—Lynch Corporation is finally yours. All of Tyrone’s old cronies have been swept away.”

Natalia leaned back in the CEO’s chair, basking in her triumph. “From now on, let’s support each other and do our best for this company.”

Just then, the door opened and Shaw walked in.

Today, he looked nothing like his usual butler self. He was dressed sharply in a tailored suit, every inch the distinguished gentleman.

“Mr. Shaw,” the executives greeted, rising respectfully.

Even Natalia was momentarily taken aback. “Dad…”

Shaw walked up to her and motioned for her to stand.
