Jeremy looked at me and then back to her."Maybe,Not right now though.

Vanessa and I are not long married,we're still getting to know each other."

"I get that."She leaned back in her chair."You understand that this is something that Vanessa wants,she's always talked about having kids."

"He knows."I butted in."Jeremy and I have talked about this,it's something we're going to consider down the line."

Ollie chuckled."I couldn't imagine Jeremy here being a Dad.

A Macallan in one hand and a baby in the other."

Jeremy smirked,leaning back in his chair. His white shirt was tight, hugging the muscles on his body."Well I'm pretty good at Multi-tasking."

I chuckled nervously,just so Natasha wouldn't take his comment seriously.

Thankfully she found it funny and laughed as well.

I wasn't the only one at the table that couldn't imagine Jeremy with a baby, thankfully that'll never happen with us.

"I'm going to get us another round on the house."Natasha stood from her chair.

Ollie stood up too."I'll come with."

They both walked towards the bar. I have a feeling Ollie has a little thing for her,I don't think Natasha would turn him down.

Jeremy and I were sitting alone,looking like a divorced couple that hated each other.

I decided to break the silence and talk to him first."Thank you for deciding to come tonight."

"Well I wanted my one night a week."

He sighed,glancing over at the two of them at the bar."When can we leave, Vanessa?"

"You're not having Fun?"I asked, sarcastically,even though it was obvious to me that he wasn't. Jeremy was his usual Grumpy self."Because your friend seems like he is,he's a nice Guy."

He glared at me."This isn't the type of thing I like to do in my spare time."

"Oh,You mean you don't like to have dinner with women you're not planning on fucking?"I surprised myself with my choice of words. I was going to say take home,but I think it was obvious the man would have sex anywhere.

In his car,a random home,in a bathroom stall. Wouldn't surprise me.

"Well you're right about that."He picked his glass of Macallan up off the table and downed the rest of it.

"Can we just please act like we love each other for the rest of the night?"I whispered.

"We're not just putting on show for my friend,now we're putting on one for yours too."

"If that's what you want."He smirked,before closing the distance between us and setting his mouth on mine in a type of kiss that we've never shared before.

Jeremy and I have kissed of course,but only at times when it's needed. Usually it's a light press of our lips together,nothing intimate or romantic about it.

But this kiss..It was different. He was kissing me with tongue,one of his hands placed on my check and the other pulling me closer to him. In the middle of the restaurant I'm sure people were looking at us,but he didn't care.

Jeremy pulled back from the kiss and looked at me,my eyes down to my lips that were plump and tingling."Well how about that,that kiss even gave me a hard on."

"Jeremy."Natasha walked faster to catch up with me."It was nice to see how adoring you and Vanessa were tonight.

She's lost a lot in her life lately,I'm glad she has you."

Lost a lot lately,like her sanity. The woman is deranged for Marrying a man she doesn't know that's for sure. "How so?"

"There was an accident last year,Vanessa's Mom died and her Dad has been in a coma ever since.It's just her and Finley now."

She furrowed her brows."I'm sure she told you about this."

I looked over at Vanessa,laughing at something Ollie said."No,She didn't.

She didn't tell me about that."

She sighed."It's not a subject she likes to talk about,it's still too painful.

I'm glad that she has you,Jeremy. I haven't seen her this happy in a long time."

The woman has secrets hidden deep inside,I never would have guessed with the exterior she puts on.

Obviously I had wondered why her parents didn't attend our wedding,but I didn't care to ask. It wasn't something that ever came up in conversation with my parents even, I mean why would it?It's not something that is easy to talk about.

It makes me wonder..Why did she marry me??
