Ocean's POV

I awoke to Trevor pressed slightly against me. His hands weren't around me or anything, but his warmth was almost overwhelming. Closing my eyes, I stretch, careful not to push up on him or anything, because men do not wake up calmly if you know what I mean.

I throw my foot over the bed and sigh once realize dawns that I'm still in the clothes from yesterday.

Y' know that moment when you yawn, or even just open your mouth? And that morning breath hits you? Not only that, but I had fallen asleep before I could even brush my teeth last night. Oh my goodness.

The entire house was quiet, so I looked at the clock above our head only to see that it was only 6:06 am.

Our bags were in the corner of the room and I softly lay mine onto the floor, and pick out an outfit for the day, while removing my toothbrush and other toiletries.

Italy was known for its art and craft so it was no surprise when I walked into a masterpiece, my jaw practically touching my tits.

"Wow," I breathe, placing my stuff on the sink, I immediately begin to undress and turn on the warm water.

I pull my shower cap over my head, before turning on the tap. I thought that I would've loved to have some music playing but this wasn't my house and I didn't want to disturb. The steam covered the walls as I stepped in, and I slowly lathered my body with dove body wash, before finishing and using Simple scent-less soap in my more intimate area.

I didn't want to leave the comfort of the warm water and squeaky clean tiles but nevertheless, stepped out and got a towel out of the cabinet. Everything was so conveniently placed and easy to find.

I spread out my hair products in front of me, and decide to do a small puff, laying my edges, and spraying it sparingly. I brush my teeth finally and floss before adding mouth wash and blow out refreshingly at renewed breath.

I saw the door handle twist before the door pushed open, and a sleepy Trevor strolled inside.

"Ocean?"

"Here." I murmur, my eyes on his naked chest.

"You're up early," he gives me a lazy smile, walking near me by the sink and I nod.

"Wasn't exactly feeling fresh." I felt naked in my towel next to him. He looked down at me, and his smile minimized into a smirk. I clear my throat before quickly grabbing my stuff, the bathroom now too small for the both of us.

I was just about to leave when he grabbed my arm gently. "By the way, Buongiorno amore mio,"

(Good morning, my love)

I nod, pretending to know what he says and he chuckles, knowing I didn't understand. I walk out, no, I run out, nearly stubbing my toe on the door.

Phew.

I quickly dried myself and pulled on some lace undergarments. I didn't know what exactly was the plan today, so I pulled on some black high wasted jeans, and a plain white t-shirt.

I looked at myself in the mirror and cringed. Right then, Trevor walked out, trying his hair.

"You look beautiful." Is the first thing he says, pausing to look me and I couldn't help but feel a bit insecure right there I didn't know what to say. "You do," He steps closer to me, this time he was in the mirror with me.

"What do you see?" he asks me and I turn to look at myself in the mirror. "Point out everything you love about yourself."

It was a bit weird, whatever was happening, but I went along with it.

"Mmm," I hum staring at myself. I did so awkwardly, with his naked presence luring over me.

A few minutes had gone and it saddened me that the only thing that I had said was "Kinda my hair," and "I guess my skin color,"

"That's not good enough." He says. "look up," he tilts my chin so that I could look at myself more closely."

"You're beautiful, can't you see? look at your curves," he touched my hip, " Look at your skin, I mean have you seen your smile? Have you heard your laugh? It's a shame that you don't see it Ocean,"

"I was taught for so long that I wasn't... I wasn't what anyone would want because I wasn't good enough that-,"

"Forget that," Trevor mostly growled out, his time, turning me to look at him. "You are more than enough Ocean, I can't stress on it enough. Dain was a miserable, bitter man that fed off the insecurities of others so that he could feel good about himself."

Trevor's hands found themselves around my waist as he pulled me into a hug.

I tensed before slowly relaxing into him, subtly wiping the stray tear that fell from my eyes.

We were halfway down the stairs, and Trevor was dressed in a light pink button-up shirt, that he tucked into his fitted black dress pants. His hair was neat, damp, and moisturized. He had these expensive-looking dress shoes, Santoni, he said. Whatever that was.

"Now, we have a fairly big-,"

"Trevor!" A lady cried out and Trevor disappeared before my eyes.

And just like that, the peace was gone. I took that opportunity to look over myself once more. I let out a shaky duh before continuing the rest of the steps.

Trevor's eyes met mine instantly as he tried to break away from whoever was holding him now.

Everywhere I turned there were people. They hadn't really noticed me yet, and I stood a little distance away, watching them greet Trevor. It was so welcoming.

There were about five extra males, and three females, it was quite obvious who were the parents.

Trevor's mom had long dark brown hair that was nearly curled. Her eyes matched her hair, and her face wrinkles when she grinned at Trevor, showing off her little wrinkles. She was dressed in a white women's button-up and black dress pants with nude heels.

I immediately felt underdressed because come to think of it, everyone was classily dressed.

Then there was Trevor's father, who was definitely American. He stuck out like a sore thumb in his causal knee-length khakis and a black t-shirt. His hair was cut really short, and he had the lightest shade of brown eyes. His skin tone was lighter than Trevor's mother, but he seemed genuinely happy, not a stress line in sight.

It was a bit overwhelming, everyone spoke Italian.

"Questo è Ocean, lei parla solo inglese," Trevor says and I lock eyes with him at the sound of my name, that, and everyone got quiet and began to start at me.

Trevor had a sickly sweet smile on his face as he placed his napkin on his lap.

"I'm Mia, and this is my sister Emma," Mia was absolutely beautiful, with hair that was cut neck length. She had an innocent look to her features. Small doll eyes and a little rabbit button nose. She was petite, and when I took her hand in mine, it was so tiny.

"How old are you?" I ask her.

"Just turned 18 actually," She replies and I nod.

Emma however, had an obvious nonchalant attitude as she simply offered me a smile. her hair was pin straight, and she dressed in purely black. She picked at her nails, bored.

"This is a family friend, Aloria," Phew, this girl... Was gorgeous. She grinned at me and I was almost blinded by her perfect white teeth. Her hair was also neck length with loose curls, and she had little freckles that sprawled across her nose. Her eyebrows were thick but trimmed to perfection, and it was obvious that she didn't bother putting on any makeup, her skin was clear as day. Her lips were plump and pink, and she wasn't exactly curvy, but she wasn't slim to the bone either in her wide legged jumpsuit.

"It's nice to meet you," She says softly, taking her hand in mine and I return it, slowly feeling the need to compare myself to her creeping in. I looked away after the moment had passed.

Everyone looked like they were straight out of a magazine. Yet here I was in some jeans and a t-shirt.

Great job Ocean.

"So Ocean, what do you do?" Asked Richard.

"I'm actually about to complete my studies, I'm going to be a therapist," I reply and he nods.

"Impressive, what do your parents do?"

"Papa," Trevor stresses out the word and Richard looks at him confused. Trevor shakes his head. The entire table falls silent once again, I don't like this.

"Oh, I'm sorry-,"

"They're not dead. I was disowned." A glass falls and shatters onto the floor, and Miriam looks at me with wide eyes.

"Oh, povero bambino," She sighs, before ushering the maids to clean up the mess. She places the dishes she had in her hand on the table.

(Poor child)

"Stai bene amore mio," Richard asks as she sits next to him and she nods, kissing his cheek.

"I'll explain later," Trevor whispers and I nod.

"Mama," Emma calls while the rest of the maid sets up the table. "Ocean is just finishing up her studies. She's going to be a therapist."

"Oh? Just tell us the date and we'll be at your graduation!" Miriam says in all seriousness and I smile.

"Of course."
