He ignored my statement, and to put it simply, he was telling me to 'get out.' Sure. Really don't want to stay in his sexist presence anyways.
I silently nodded and left after grabbing those files. This guy could be really scary.
After shutting the door, I sighed in relief. One second he goes teasing and the other scolding. Everyone was bipolar here.
"Judging from that sigh, I take that it didn't go so well."
Ah Lucas, just the person I wanted to see.
Note the sarcasm.
And I have to share this room with him. Can this day get any better?
I didn't want to deal with him, so I just ignored him and went to my desk. How am I going to go through these zillion files in just three hours?
I opened a file, then noticed a shadow on my desk. I looked up only to find Lucas leaning on my desk and staring at me. "Oh it's you. What now?" I asked, trying my best to avoid eye contact with him.
"Why are you ignoring me?"
"I'm not. I just have lots of files to go through." I mumbled.
"Do you know that you look really sexy with your panties being exposed? And black is most definitely my favorite color." He said, causing me to flush.
I'm sure my face was blood red by now. I could literally feel my cheeks heat up.
Pervert.
I looked down at my pencil skirt and bought my hands near it, in an attempt to soothe it, only to find it perfectly hugging my legs.
I looked up at him, and he started to laugh.
"Your face! Oh god." He said between his laugh. "I got you good. By the way, you look way hotter when you blush." This obviously caused me to blush more and him to laugh more.
"That wasn't very decent of you! But how'd you know that my well you know what is black?" I asked looking down at my feet. He did get a glance somehow.
"I didn't." He said winking.
That does it. Once I get my first salary, I'll definitely hire an assassin to get this guy killed.
"Lucas I need to go through these files so if you'll please excuse me." I said as sternly as possible.
"Come in."
Emily
I entered his office with a smile on my face, trying to look as professional as possible. Hoping that he forgot our previous conversation in the past 2-3 hours.
"Yes?" He asked without looking away from his laptop screen.
"The files-"
"If it's something that you don't understand, then ask Lucas. I have other obligations." He said without looking at me even once.
Get me mad, and I'll make sure that you have to get a new laptop. Calm down Emily. I took a deep breath, something that I had to do constantly in his presence.
"But I didn't even complete my sentence Mr Henderson." I said in a calm tone.
He finally averted his eyes towards me and raised his eyebrow. "Have a seat Emily."
I noticed him glancing me up and down as I made my way towards the chair. Dude, I was wearing the same outfit and pair of shoes three hours ago! What's there to stare at now!
