"Repeat. the. last. part." He demanded.

"IRejectedHimWhenHeAskedMeOut." I said quickly. Too quickly. I could feel my cheeks burn.

"A bit slow this time."

Damn you Adrian. I sighed and repeated slowly. "I rejected him when he asked me out."

"You turned him down?" He asked. I don't know if it's just me, but he looked relieved. I just nodded in response.

He glanced at his watch. "I have to take care of a very important task." I nodded and turned around to return back to my desk, but he grabbed me by my arm causing me to turn around and my eyes to go wide. "I want you to accompany me. This task requires my assistant to accompany me." He said as he let go of my arm.

"What task?"

"Don't question your boss. You are hired for my personal assistance, so just do as you're asked."

Then he just grabbed my hand, and led me to the elevator. I won't deny the fact that I felt sparks when he grabbed it. How can one possibly feel sparks when someone holds your hand? It made me feel weak. It's as if I succumbed to his nonexistent charm.

Okay so that's a lie.

The sound of the elevator door closing bought my attention to my current location. More like position. I was standing in the elevator, with my boss. He was standing right behind me. So close that I could feel his breath on my neck. I immediately regretted snapping out of my thoughts. The tingly sensation was still there. I looked down at my hand, only to find it entangled into his.

My breath got stuck in my throat and I could feel blood boil to my cheeks. Two questions entered my mind.

Number one- Why was he standing so close to me? He was literally invading all of my personal space. And number two- why was he still holding my hand? And I'll just add the third one- what's with the awkward silence?

Woman up Emily.

I turned around only to find him looking at me.

He stopped laughing when he finally realized that his humor sucks. "Sorry. I was just kidding. I'll properly answer your question. I drive fast. That's what I said." He was clearly suppressing his laughter. His words probably had a deeper meaning. Deep and dirty.

"Oh." was all I could reply with. Then he started the car. I still didn't know what that important task that required his assistant was.

He was concentrating on the road infront of us, I took this opportunity to stare at him. What stare? Ofcourse not. Correction- took this opportunity to discover his flaws.

I just furrowed my eyebrows and kep staring at him when I wasn't able to find a single flaw. Why was he so perfect and damn hot. I just felt like stroking that brunette mane of his.

And those green piercing eyes, probably his best feature. He had such a nice built, broad shoulders, and god knows what he was hiding under that suit of his. Not that I'm complaining. It's probably better off hidden. My eyes moved from his suit to his face and I noticed that his ears were turning pink. The color crept to his cheeks, and it kept getting darker.

I watched as he shifted uncomfortably in his seat, passing his fingers through his hair. Something that I wanted to do. What was making him so uncomfortable and why was he blushing. It was as if he was nervous. I didn't know that this guy even had the tendency of getting nervous.

I was still shamelessly checking him out when the car came to an abrupt halt and his eyes landed on mine. Well it wasn't just his eyes that landed on mine.
