My eyes widened as soon as realization hit me.

He accused me of being gay, he wanted to get me angry just to hear those exact words!

He already knew that I had feelings for Emily, and he made me realize that I didn't like Emily.

I was deeply in love with her.

I lifted my eyes from the floor and stared back at Lucas. "You're pathetic, you know that."

"And you're so transparent, you know that."

We sounded like girls, but who cares. Girls can be better than guys. And screw that, I just discovered something disturbing yet I liked what I discovered.

And I decided to make her mine. That was the solution all along. I was too blind to notice it. I could change my old ways.

He asked, wiggling his eyebrows causing me to laugh, he joined in the laughter as well. I might not act it, but I love this motherfucker.

I smiled at the thought of growing old with her.

"Woah man, you look like a gold-digger whose rich ass husband just died." Lucas announced while taking his seat, causing me to facepalm.
