I don't think your love life is your biggest problem right now, Natalia," Alicia said, genuinely surprised that a ruthless schemer could be so delusional over a man. "I heard... the Gentleman already considers you a discarded pawn. He wants you to unconditionally transfer all your shares to Micah Quinn and kick you out of Lynch Corporation entirely. After everything you did to get your hands on it, too."

Alicia offered a mocking smile. "Without any leverage, how do you think your story ends? You're not Jade. Clayton will always protect Jade because he owes her grandfather a debt. But what about you?"

Natalia's face drained of color. Every word Alicia said was a brutal reality.

"If I were you, Natalia, I'd expose the Gentleman's identity right now. Let someone else fight him, and take the target off your own back," Alicia whispered, stepping closer.

Natalia glared at her, realizing Alicia was trying to back her into a corner to extract the Gentleman's identity.

But the truth was, Natalia had only been using that secret to bluff Alicia. She had never actually met the real Gentleman face-to-face... the man who dealt with her was likely just a proxy.

"Alicia, all I can tell you is that the Gentleman is part of the Quinn family," Natalia hissed through gritted teeth.

Out of all of us pawns, he's the only one who actually knows who the Gentleman is, and the only one who's met him in the flesh," Natalia snapped, her patience wearing thin. "Now tell them to let me in. I'm going to see Clayton."

"Well... if that's all you know, then you have absolutely no value to me. Why would I let you see him?" Alicia smirked, turning on her heel.

"Alicia! Easton is getting married soon, and I heard that old man from the Edwards family treats him like a son. Aren't you afraid I'll leak his scandal with Lena? Don't forget, I still have the evidence!"

She was trying to use Easton's HIV status as leverage again.
