Save My Mate novel Chapter 4

"Very well, you may shift." He said and Balthazar obediently shifted into his wolf. It was a light gray, almost white with his paw holding a symbol, signaling his rank. Afterward, Theseus shifted into his wolf, a pure black with shiny soft looking fur. He went behind me, putting his snout in between my legs and lifted me up, my bottom sliding down his head, neck, then down his back. I blushed, realizing my butt was just on his face.

Since we're mates, he mind linked me to hold on which I did and to tell my brother to follow. My brother nodded, understanding what he was doing. Thankfully, Balthazar isn't that stupid to run off. And surprisingly at the moment, Theseus started running, the tree he punched fell down. I quickly wrapped my arms around his neck and shut my eyes tight. I could hear his wolf growl in approval, making me smirk a little.

It's strange to know I'm not afraid of him. As I look around, I see the blur of the trees from how fast we are going. Not too fast, but just enough to make the trees look like that. I crane my neck to see Balthazar quickly following behind. I then look forward, only to see a mansion engulf my vision. My eyes turn into huge circles from how large it is. There was a large mansion in the middle, with two the size of my pack house on the sides. Theseus quickly stops and Balthazar halts as well.

On the sides of the mansion are houses, and out of one of them comes out a man in his late twenty's, boxer shorts in hand. I quickly get off Theseus's back as my feet touch the ground with a thud. Theseus shifts back and takes a pair of shorts from the man, who bows his head in respect and hands some to Balthazar, who has shifted. I look back at Theseus only to see him slip on the shorts, thankfully they were already on his waist by the time I look.

And right there, I can see the perfect V he has along with an eight pack. Going up, you see his broad shoulders, and how he doesn't even need to flex for his muscles to show. His jawline was perfect and defined, along with his cheek bones. His full pink lips and hazel eyes. They looked like honey swirls, along with curly eyelashes. Suddenly, you can hear the howl of victory at the distance.

I look at Balthazar, to see the tattoo on his hand slowly fading to a scar, showing he no longer has his rank but is part of Delta family. He sighs and just looks off into the distance. Only a few minutes later, you can hear the rumbling of wolf paws like thunder in the ground. All the wolves shift and go to trees, but come out wearing clothes instead. They all seem unharmed which surprises me. They all come, and each gives a nod to Alpha Theseus.

After a while, there are only two people left, the Beta and the Delta of Theseus's pack. They both nod to Balthazar and me and greet Theseus.

"There's going to be a meeting about how we are going to handle this situation," Theseus says. The Beta and Delta nod and head to a house on the side. Theseus's eyes soon change to a grayish color, signaling that he is mind linking someone. Soon, a boy comes out, around the age of thirteen.

They held amusement.

He continues to come closer until he's right in front of my face. His hands cup my cheeks and slide down to my neck leaving a trail of goosebumps due to the sparks. His hold wasn't tight or harming but secured. He then brings his head forward, whispering in my ear.

"You're mine, and no one else's. Understood? I'm going to be the light in your darkness Sweet Cheeks. You're going to be stuck with me; whether you like it or not." he whispers slowly. His breath brought shivers down my spine, making my toes curl in a good way. He looked in my eyes, a strand of black hair falling over his forehead as slowly leans in, kissing my cheek.
