Margaret stood by the side of the road, leaning on her cane, one hand waving for a taxi, her heart pounding in her chest.

"Miss, are you blind? Need a ride somewhere?"

A taxi pulled over, the driver calling out to her.

Hearing his voice, Margaret's face lit up with joy as she opened the car door, ready to get in. "Driver, I need to go to the airport."

But as soon as the words left her mouth—

A strong, iron grip seized the hand holding her cane. In the next moment, William's cold, sharp voice pierced her ears. "Margaret, what are you doing at the airport? Planning to go on a honeymoon abroad?"

Margaret's heart sank. The next thing she heard was the sound of the taxi door slamming shut.

William had taken her back to the hospital room.

As soon as they entered, he threw her cane far away.

With barely-contained anger, he shoved her onto the bed, his heated body pinning her down. He grabbed her hands and pressed them over her head, kissing her fiercely on the lips in a violent rush.

"Let go of me!"

Margaret trembled, her body gripped by fear. The endless darkness of her blindness seemed to amplify William's rage, and a deep terror threatened to consume her whole.

The taste of blood began to fill her mouth.

With a ripping sound, William tore her top off, his kiss moving from her lips to her body.

"William, let me go!"

"Margaret, you're being so disobedient!"

William grabbed her chin roughly, his cold, dark eyes reflecting her frightened face. His voice turned even colder, his anger blazing. "You want to leave me? Am I so good to you that you think you can defy me like this?"

Once again, he took her lips, using his strength to resist her desperate struggles.

Just when Margaret felt like her spirit had died, William’s phone rang.

With a furious roar, he finally released her, answering the call and storming out of the room.

But from that moment on, William locked Margaret in the hospital room, not allowing her to step outside.

As further punishment for her disobedience, he heartlessly stopped her cancer treatment for two days.

Excruciating pain spread through her body like fire.

Margaret rolled in agony on the bed, her tears soaking the pillow.

William stood coldly by the window, watching her suffering, only approaching when she seemed close to fainting from the pain. He lifted her chin with a cruel smile and said coldly, "Margaret, have you had enough of your lesson? Don’t ever think about leaving me. Leaving me will only bring you more pain, and you won’t be able to survive it."
