Isabella's POV

Groaning,I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm clock. It feels like I just closed my eyes a couple of minutes ago.

"I swear night is getting shorter." I grumbled,slapping my face with a pillow.

Stretching my muscles,I got out of my warm,comfy bed and went to the bathroom across my room,which I consider my own.

My parents and sister have their owned joint bathrooms so it's only fair that this one is mine.

On Saturday,Devon, Sophie and I went to the movies as planned,however our movie started at five,so Devon took Sophie and I shopping even as I protested. I swear that man can't take no for an answer. To be honest there's a tiny bit of me that likes that about him almost as much as I like his smile and his killer lips...wait a minute. What in the world am I saying. Bad Isabella,very bad.

Ever since I met this guy all my thoughts seem to always include him.

I think I need to seek professional help. Getting out of my shower,I brushed my teeth and applied some lotion. I'll let my hair air dry, so it can keep it's natural curls. Walking to my closet,I pulled out an outfit

and pulled my hair into a curly ponytail shaped into a bun due to the curls of my hair.

I then walked to my vanity and applied some transparent lip gloss to my lips before putting it into my back pocket. 'I think I look presentable enough' I thought as I took my Adidas back pack and got out of my bedroom.

Walking downstairs,I was met with the smell of my favourite drink ever...cappuccino! I guess my dad decided to surprise me with some cappuccino, seeing as it's my first day at work.

"Thanks Dad!" I yelled while giving him a bear hug.

"You're welcome, Honey." Answered my dad chuckling as he returned my hug.

"Thanks for offering to drop me off." I said as I pulled some cereal from the pantry and some milk from the fridge and placed them both on the counter.

"Anything for my little girl." I heard my dad say as he drank his coffee.

I walked back to the counter with a bowl and spoon, prepared my breakfast then I sat down next to my dad and started eating.

After finishing my cereal I started drinking my now cool cappuccino.

"We better get going if you want to make it on time and if I also want to make it on time." Said my dad already standing up and walking to the dishwasher to put his cup.

Checking the time on my watch,I saw that it was 07:20.

"You're right,I guess it's time to go." I said standing up and putting my dirty dishes into the dishwasher.

"Good luck today and enjoy your first day. Try to make the best out of it." Said Megan while standing at the staircase with barely open eyes, yawning.

I just chuckled at the sight of my barely awake sister. "Thanks, Megs. Now go back to bed before you fall asleep on the floor." I said with a barely contained laugh.

"Got it, bye Isa." Said Megan going up the stairs to her bedroom.

"Time to go, Isabella." Yelled my Dad from the garage.

"Coming" I yelled back, speed walking towards the garage.

I walked into the garage just in time to see my dad getting into the car. Immediately after I had entered the car and closed the door my dad pulled the car out of the garage and away we went.

"Isa, you will have to be my human GPS." Said my dad, pulling onto the road.

"No prob, in fact I'm even better than a GPS." I said confidentially with my head held high.

"Is that so?" Asked my dad in a teasing voice with a raised eyebrow.

"Yep, Firstly I'm way prettier and secondly I'm way smarter." I dramatically said with a smirk on my face.

The whole ride to Devon's house was filled with laughter.

"Here we are, Dad." I said as my dad parked in front of the familiar gate. The only different thing was that the gate was closed this time.

The house was beautiful and it had a lot of Forestry behind it. The forest gave it a mysterious feeling, it kinda felt dangerous, but at the same time it gave the house it's beauty and calmness, what a weird combination it was.

"Yes I did,are you a fan of cappuccino?" He asked while pulling two cups out of a cupboard and two teaspoons out of a drawer.

"Warm or cold milk?" Asked Devon as he put water into the kettle.

"Cold please and yeah,I absolutely love Cappuccino." I answered taking a seat.

The next couple of minutes were filled with silence except the sound of Devon preparing our Cappuccinos.

Devon walked over to me and placed my Capaccino infront of me,"thanks" I said as he took a seat next to me.

"So,if I may ask, is the gate normally closed or is it only closed because it's still quite early in the morning?" I asked taking a sip of my Cappuccino and and I couldn't help but to moan at the deliciousness.

I swear that's when I heard him groan before he answered,"There was a malfunction that day otherwise it's always closed."

"Miss Isabel!" I heard from a sweet voice that I knew belonged to Sophie.

"Hey Soph." I said turning to the young girl and giving her a big hug.

"Are you going to spend the day here?" She excitedly asked with hopeful eyes.

"You got it." I winked at her.

"Yayyy,we are going to have a lot of fun, we're gonna watch movies and play and..."

Sophie got cut off by Devon laughing," Soph,Baby calm down." He answered calming down.

"Okay,I'll see you ladies later when it's time for lunch and I'll be taking you ladies out by the way." Then he looked at me." If you need anything,I'll be in my office." He finished off in a gentle,but stern voice.

There is something in his eyes that I can't quite pinpoint seeing as I'm not good at reading people through their eyes. No matter how much I try I just can't. What I definitely saw though was that there was more to that gaze and those words.

Wait....did he say he's taking us not just Sophie,but us to lunch.
