"Devon,the is no need to do that. I'll just stay here and maybe do some cleaning while you two are gone." I said trying to persuade him.

"Nonsense. Sophie and I would love it if you would join us." Answered Devon with a reassuring smile.

Just like that my afternoon had been planned.

"That is sorted then,I'll see you two for lunch." Said Devon already climbing up the stairs.

"So how about we go watch a movie,Soph?" I asked Soph.

The next couple of hours flew by quickly with Sophie and I tickling each other, watching two movies, playing tea party and dress up.

At 12:00 I picked out new clothes for Sophie

and brushed her hair and now we're playing a good game of twenty questions.

"Okay,umm favourite colour?" I asked Sophie

"White" I heard someone answer behind me. Turning around I was faced with Devon's handsome face and boy did he look hot.

What is wrong with me,why am I busy entertaining these crazy thoughts. Hello earth to Isabella,hormones get yourselves back into the safe and logic get yourself out of the gutters.

"It's so not fair,why do you guys get to change your outfits while mine stays the same." I said with a little pout on my face.

"You already look beautiful,but if you would really like a change of outfits,we can pass by the mall and get you a new outfit." Said Devon walking toward the door with his keys in hand followed by an overly excited Sophie.

Running towards them and nearly bumping into Devon's back," No,you really don't have to. I'm fine with the outfit I have on already." I said with a nervous smile.

"Aww and Sophie and I were looking forward to a little shopping trip." Said Devon with a swoon worthy pout. How much I wanted to kiss those lips.

What's wrong with me?I seriously need help.

But there was just something about seeing this tall, muscular, handsome man pout that made my insides giddy.

It awoke a sudden desire in me. I swear I felt my heart skip a beat and this undeniable and almost uncontrollable overwhelming desire to kiss him arose. For the first time in my life I felt a zoo running in my already butterfly infested stomach.

Looking down at Sophie,I saw her wearing the exact same pout as her father and that broke the last string of my resolve.

Sighing I mumbled,"Okay". I swear these two will be the death of me.

Then I heard Devon say," And by the way,I'm paying."

The next thing I knew,we were on our way to the mall in his beautiful, black Ford Ranger

with me in the passenger seat and Sophie in the back.

Devon took me to Clara's Boutique even as I protested. Clara's Boutique is one of the best boutiques in the country and they sell quality products. Their things are crazy expensive,but beautiful and are worth every cent.

Devon bought me a beautiful Summer dress.

Then surprise surprise against my protests as usual he bought me a crazy expensive bag

as a 'thank you' according to him. He also bought me a beautiful but ding ding ding expensive necklace.

Devon insisted that I changed into my new outfit which I did. Sophie was the most thilled and she absolutely loved the outfit.

" So where would you ladies like to go for lunch?" Asked Devon as we stood in the middle of the food court.

I felt Sophie put her hand in mine so I looked down at her to feel her look up at me and smile, which I returned.

That's when I hear someone wolf whistle and being a normal person,I searched for the source of the whistle and I found it. Infront of us stood a group of boys and they were shamelessly checking me out.

That's when I heard the most odd sound...a growl.

The oddest thing was that it sounded like it came from Devon. When I turned around to face him,his grey eyes had turned a shade darker, his jaw was clenched and his hands were clenched into fists.

"It is nice to meet you too,so what would you like to order?" Asked Sophie with her notebook and pen already in her hands.

"May I please have a medium sized glass of creme soda?" I ordered "what would you like to drink,Soph?" I asked Sophie with a gentle smile.

"Apple juice" she enthusiastically replied.

"And I would like a large glass of mango juice." Ordered Devon.

"Okay,what would you like to eat?"Sofia asked while expectantly looking at us.

"We would like two large boxes,one being a chicken and mushroom pizza with extra cheese and the other being a steak and Ribs pizza." Ordered Devon.

"You got it,your drinks will be out in a sec." She said sending us a smile before going to place our orders and fetch our drinks.

While we waited for our orders,I couldn't help but to think about what happened a couple of minutes ago. I could have sworn I felt a tinge of anger back there. It appeared as quickly as it disappeared and the anger felt like it was someone else's.

"So I was thinking. How about I take you ladies to a spa after lunch?" Devon offered as he looked between Sophie and I.

"Devon,you've done a lot already,lunch is enough and besides I have to pay you back for lunch." I quickly said and I shyly looked at my hands which were on the table.

I felt a hand clasp around mine causing me to automatically look at the person from whom it came from.

"Isabella,I want to. Also remember that I already said that I would pay and you don't have to pay me back." Said Devon looking at me with gentle eyes.

"Here are your drinks, enjoy" said Sofia as she placed our drinks infront of us."Your pizzas will be ready in a couple of minutes." She said before leaving.

As I took a sip of my drink I could feel Devon's eyes on me," What?" I asked in a nervous voice as looked at our hands.

"It's nothing,I was just admiring you." He said in a way that seemed like he was talking about something as simple as the weather.

That small sentence sent my heart on a marathon. This guy is really going to be the death of me.
