I was confused when he introduced me to the handsome man as his wife. I was already angry but I didn't want to make a scene because I was already ready to give Williams a taste of his own medicine so I just smiled foolishly and replied.

" Yes, he is my husband"I said in a sour tone and gave him a fake smile. "Uhm, baby why don't we head to the kitchen" I said with a very devilish voice. Williams led the way to the kitchen since I didn't know anywhere in the house. I'm very sure he was scared but he didn't show it.

We got the very large kitchen and without wasting much time I gave him a very hot hard slap on his cheeks. It sounded really loud and he wasn't expecting it.

His left cheek became very red and he held it trying to soothe the pain.

" I deserved that"he said

"Good thank God you acknowledge it, now tell me what is going on" I replied him demanding an answer.

"Athena, you need to marry me. It's urgent."

"Williams you're really irritating me right now, you're saying this like it's an easy thing I can just do, and I'm getting married to you because of what?' I said while I stood one sided with my hands folded.

"Athena please, I'll pay you"

I landed him another slap on his right cheek, I don't know why he thought everything was about money. I mean, I'm still young and I have a life to live and Marriage is an honorable ceremony not to be taken for granted because God is the witness.

"DON'T YOU IN YOUR ENTIRE DAMN LIFE EVER TELL ME THAT YOU'D PAY ME- EVER" I yelled at him out of anger.

" I'm- s sorry" he stammered .

" So we've both established the fact that you don't want to marry me because of Sofia, now speak before I hit you where the sun doesn't shine" I screamed.

"Okay, okay, I have a business deal and I might or might have not told them that I have a wife, and now they want to meet you, if they find out that I'm lying they will most definitely cancel the deal because they are very strict people" he said with a scared tone.

" So story cut short, you want me to be your pretend wife, now where is Sofia mentioned in all the statement you just said"

"Hmm, we can juggle it somehow"

"If you want me to be your pretend wife, why do we have to get married?"

"So the business guys would know I'm not lying"

"You do know you are a selfish asshole, everything you mentioned is all about you, you didn't even bother about my feelings" I said pointing at him.

"I'll pa-" he said half way and I kicked him where the sun doesn't shine. He held it and groaned in pain and fell on the floor.

"Do you want to make me barren" he groaned.

"Please stop acting like a child, get up and take me to Sofia's room, you're suffocating me" I said in a very dead tone.

He already annoyed me and I couldn't take it anymore. He stood up and started walking, I followed him behind slowly and after a few twist and turns we arrived at the entrance of a pink door that had glitters on it.

"So where I'm I going to sleep?" I asked before he left.

"You can stay in the guest room, I'll take you home tomorrow" he said.

"Where is the guest room?" I asked expecting him to tell me where it was.

"It's just the third room on the left" he said pointing towards the left direction of the hall way.

I didn't even tell him a thank you because I was really pissed. I opened the door and saw Sofia playing with some stuffed toys in her room.
