I said my last good bye to my mum and left the burial ground. It was really hard for me, I felt like I was choking, like the oxygen on earth was finishing and I was just sinking deep deep into the earth.

Seeing my dad and siblings constantly crying Everytime always made me sad. It kept bringing back memories of my mother.

It had been a week since the burial and nothing had changed. I just kept hearing the same tears and mourning over and over again.

I decided that I was going to leave the next day because it was on a Friday and I'll be able to catch up on the things that I've missed in school before Monday. I decided to go to my mother's tomb and sit beside it. I cried and told her a lot of things.

"Mom, I know you're gone now, but you'll never be gone in my heart. I just wanted to tell you that I think I like a guy, and I think he likes me to. If you were alive I know you'd be very happy because you've always wanted me to get married and have kids. I hope I do too. I have to go now, I'll miss you forever". I said and left the tomb with tears filled in my eyes.

I told my dad I was leaving the next day but he seemed a little bit bothered about me. I felt that was the best decision to make because staying at home just made everything worse. My mom was literally everywhere, her clothes, smell, everything.

I packed my bags and ordered an Uber driver to pick me up the next day and I booked the earliest flight to New York.

I cried before I went to bed. I was feeling very numb and weak.

My alarm snoozed by 4:00am. I had to leave very early so I would make it early to work.

My dad and siblings woke up to see me off. It was really hard to leave them in that condition, but I had to get back to my life. I kissed all of them good bye and left into the Uber.

The journey seemed a little bit shorter than the first ride. We arrived at the airport within an hour and half and I quickly went to check in.

All the processes were done quickly and in no time the plane took off.

I tried to sleep in the plane but all to no avail. I kept thinking about my mum and at the same time crying. I just couldn't concentrate. I was falling apart.

After two hours, the plane landed safely. I already hired an Uber that would take me directly to school since the journey from the airport to my house was really short.

The Uber driver was really nice. He helped me get my bag into the trunk and he behaved very friendly.

I arrived at school by 9:00am in the morning and classes were already in session. It was almost break time. I signed in an dropped my luggages with the receptionist and left for my class. I saw my assistant doing some paper work so I went to meet her and greet her. That was when I saw Sofia.

I had been thinking about Sofia since I left and I couldn't wait to see her.

When I entered the class all the children were asleep, it was their nap time. I saw Sofia and I just wanted to break down to tears again.

Recently I had just realized how people you love so much could leave you within a twinkle of an eye. I was already becoming paranoid thinking everyone I love would die and leave me.

I decided to call her unstable father, I therefore left the class and unfortunately, immediately the phone started ringing, he picked the call.

"ATHENA where have you been?" He said very happily and surprised .

"Good morning to you too " I said very dryly.

"Where have you been, your line has been out of coverage for more than a week now"

"I was at Chicago"

"CHICAGO?"

"Yeah, but nevermind anyways"

I saw Aiden coming towards my direction, and I didn't want him to know about Williams so I hung up immediately"

"I need to go" I said and hung up.

Aiden came to my direction and without words he stretched his arms very wide signifying he wanted to hug me.

I went into his arms and started crying. He held my waist with one of his hands and the second he used to hold my hair stroking it downwards. His hands were really soft and his touch was tender. I felt very secure at that moment. I just wanted to stay like that forever.

That was the best comfort I had received since the past weeks. He held me there and I just kept on crying. He was really tall and I was short so I was able to feel his chest very well. His chest felt very hard, seems like he always went to the gym.

After a while I withdrew away from him and wiped my tears with my arms. His shirt was some how wet from my tears but he seemed to care less.

"How are you feeling Athena?" He said asking with a very calm voice. It seemed like he had lost someone to.

"I wish I was fine" I said with tears rolling from my eyes.

"You know what, why don't we go out tonight, just you and I anywhere you want to go" he said

"I was thinking going for a stroll and dinner at a canteen " I said and giggled out .

"Dinner and stroll it is!" He said giving me one of his priceless smiles that showed off his dimples.

He gave me another hug and left. I was really short of words. I didn't know how to react because I was still very suprised that a MAN could actually be interested in me.

I went back to the class room, it was then Sofia woke up and immediately she saw me she got up and ran towards my direction.

I squatted and picked her up as she ran towards me.

"Miss Athena I missed you " she said so sweetly.

"I missed you too darling, how have you been?" I asked her while I arranged her hair properly.
