I was still wondering what he wanted to see me for. Infact I was eager to meet him. I just didn't know why but I was just very eager. Maybe it was the fact that he was sounding so gentle and kind. I always have this soft spot for gentle guys.

Sofia and I wore our clothes and headed to the train station. Her father's work place was one of the biggest in the city. I honestly didn't know that her father was the WILLIAMS MANCHESTER. There was no one who didn't know about "The Williams Industry". They created all sort of beverages and snacks etc. Apart from the edibles they also had the raw material side and the mechanic side of their industry. But the one I was going to right now was their food industry.

The train stopped and everyone got out. It was a three minute walk to his office from the train station.

I hadn't been inside the office before, although I had passed that area a couple of times before.

The building was very tall, it was one of the tallest in New York City, almost the height of a skyscraper, it was made out of glass, some parts of the building was transparent while some were tinted.

I held Sofia's hand very tightly and when we got to the zebra crossing we crossed. On getting to the front door of the building, the door automatically opened.

The cool fresh breeze inside the building made me have goosebump because I wasn't wearing a long sleeve or a coat.

I walked straight to the receptionist and greeted her.

"Good day ma'am welcome to The Williams Industry, how may I be of assistance to you" she said in a very sweet tiny voice.

"Oh hey, my name is Athena, I'm here to see the ass- I mean Willam, Mr Williams" I said and cleared my throat in embarrassment.

"Oh you're Miss Athena!" She gasped, she probably thought I was going to be a very rich ass woman. "Please have your seat" she said coming out of her counter."I'll get Mr Williams to you now" she replied hurriedly and left.

After waiting for about five minutes. She came out and said I should go the third floor, first room on the right.

I held Sofia's hands and we both got into the elevator. I noticed her hands became cold.

"Sofia are you okay?" I stopped and asked her.

"I'm scared of the up thing" she said closing her eyes.

"You mean the elevator?" I giggled

"Yes" she pouted.

"Okay, how about I carry you while we both enter together" I said while I carried her into my arms and entered the elevator.

I pressed "3" and within few seconds the door closed. I noticed that Sofia began holding me very tightly as soon as the elevator began moving. When I sensed it, I held her tighter.

We finally landed on the third floor, I tried counting and I located the first door on the right.

The door was made out of steel I guessed, it was painted white matching other white doors in the hall way and it had a label that stated "WILLIAMS" before I could even knock I could feel the cold breeze emitting from the door.

I knocked once and he immediately told me to come in. I opened the door slowly and entered. Sofia ran to her dad and hugged him and as expected he didn't hug her back.

I was already pissed seriously I just decided to keep calm and not make any scene because security cameras could be hidden in the office. "Sofia why don't you go seat on that couch over there" I pointed towards my left. The office was very big, so from that distance Sofia would not be able to hear out conversation.

She went to sit and began playing with some stuffed animals that was used to decorate the sofa.

"Okay asshole why do you want to see me" I said in a very irritating yet annoyed tone.

"Hmm, Athena, I need to discuss something very important to with you" he said taking a deep breath with all seriousness.

" You're making me scared"

"Look, the other day Sofia asked me if you could be her mother"

"Okay?"

"I know I've not been the best father" he said almost crying

"No, you've not been the best father!" I lashed out loudly.

"There is a reason behind all of it"

"I don't want to know what ever reason you have for treating that poor little girl so inhumanely " I said with all the anger in my bloodstream.

"Calm down"

"Don't tell me to fucking calm down, you're an asshole and you know it, you make me go mad, you're pissing me off big time" I yelled.

The rest of the car ride was silent. He didn't bother to talk to me again because he knew I was still mad.

We finally arrived at the restaurant. It looked fancy but not too fancy. It looked like a place where extremely rich people go to chill. Like a normal bar. But for rich people.

I stepped out of the car and he waited beside the side of my door surprisingly. We both walked into the restaurant together, like we were a couple.

The atmosphere was very nice, it smelled rich and it also smelled like food. There were a lot of people there, both young and old.

We found a vacant seat for two and sat on it. He looked tensed but I didn't care at all.

"Ahem" he said trying to get my attention.

"Yeah?"

"How do you like this place?"

"It's rich"

He didn't say anything after that, he just smiled. After a second later, a waitress came towards us and he told her to get us some drinks.

After she arrived she brought different types of drinks ranging from champagne to fruit juice.

Since I was a light head. I picked the fruit juice and I ordered spaghetti and shrimp sauce while Willam ordered a vegetable salad.

I thought it would take long before food would be ready but within two minutes they came back bringing both of our orders. Hot.

I was shy, like really shy to eat in front of him, I hadn't gone on a date before in my entire life. The loud sound of silence was really bothering me. I was kept on suspense on what he wanted to tell me.

I couldn't take it any more so I said " what did you want to tell me?"

He paused for a moment, took a long breath and said

"Let's get married"
