“Sandy?” Scott was baffled. “You must be mistaken. Her name’s Sandia—she’s Juliana’s old classmate. No way she’s Tavon’s daughter.”

Herman pressed, voice serious. “Are you sure those photos aren’t wrong?”

“The person in the pictures is definitely her, but she’s Sandia, not Sandy…” Scott’s words trailed off as the pieces started to click.

“She’s Sandy,” Herman said quietly. “Anastasia’s half-sister. I’d check her background again if I were you.”

“…Alright.” Scott hung up and called for his assistant, “Winston, I need you to—actually, never mind. Cancel my meetings this afternoon.”

He wasn’t about to dig around behind her back—he was going to ask Sandy himself.
