"Are you okay?" He asked me.

I nodded. "For the most part, yes. I just feel really violated." I half smiled. He sat me down and held my hand as we walked further into the woods. I saw Jayden and Cooper holding Braxton up against a tree.

He laughed. "It worked. I knew it would work."

Jayden punched him in the face, his head hitting the trunk of the tree. "What did you do?" He seethed at him.

"Well, a few of the rouges and other wolfs from packs, including moi, are giving the hunters information of where you are so they can, ya know, kill you and skin you." Braxton laughed. I gasped as tears welled back in my eyes. This time Cooper punched him, probably harder than Jayden. "Just because everyone in your pack likes you, which really isn't true, doesn't mean that everyone else does too. Lupa Alba's are mean, vicious, dangerous and merciless. They are a danger to the whole wolf population and the only reason they're here is because The Man in the Moon needed a reason for why Runts like you existed. And with that he made their wolf form stronger than all wolves, even pure alphas. When you're dead, everything will be back to normal. The hunters will find you soon, don't worry about that." This time is was Chase who broke his nose for a third time. He probably also broke his cheek bone and jaw, but I didn't stop him because I was too frightened to do anything.

Gaining confidence, I ran up to Chase and stopped him before he really kills him. "Come on. The cook out's almost over. He's not worth it." I claimed.

Chase nodded before looking at me. When he did it was Chase, it was Koda. His eyes were a dark green and they were full of anger. "I'm marking you tonight. We're not waiting any longer. We can't protect you if I can't find you. Understand?" I nodded at Koda and waited for his eyes to lighten up.

When they did, we all left Braxton there and walked back. As we walked back I noticed out of the corner of my eye three or four wolves with red eyes staring at us. Blinking I looked back at them and they were gone. I shivered and walked back through the bushes.

"Welcome to your new home, Briar. I promise you that everyone will love you." He opened his arms to me and i hugged him. It felt weird since i never really hugged him before. "The pack warriors will take your bags up to your room for you" I backed away.

"Oh no, no, no. that's not necessary. I can carry my own bags," I chuckled, reaching for my suitcase handle again but felt nothing until i realized one of them have already stared carrying them up the steps. I gaped at him, "Flynn! I told you I could handle it." I pouted.

"Please. Like I'd let you carry your own bags. Plus, Chase wouldn't approve."
