She kept walking to the back side of the barn. She had to ekep her composure but didn't know how.
Blake turned to talk to Sam but saw she was gone. What on earth? He sat the suit cases and satchel down on the porch and headed towards the barn. "Sam?" he called but instead of a reply he heard the sound of her getting sick. He rushed through the barn and out the back door.
Sam was leaning over getting sick, she didn't know he was there.
As she pulled her shirt up to wipe her mouth and the tears from her cheeks he caught sight of her stomach. If he had been hit over the head he wouldn't have mistaken what he saw. Her once very flat stomach was protruding a little. Could she possibly be? He slowly walked a little closer, "Sammy, are you okay?"
Sam pulled her shirt back down her stomach hastily, "I'm fine." She mumbled not looking up at him.
He tilted her head up gently, his finger hooked under her chin, "Are you sure Honey?" he searched her eyes slowly.
"I'm sure," she tried to avoid his gaze but her eyes were glued to his. It was as if their eyes were like magnets for one another's.
"Well if you need to talk I'm here."
She nodded her head, "Just been feeling a little under the weather, the onions were just too much."
"Well I can let Aaron and Jaimie know, you go up to the loft and relax for a little bit, you can use the tooth brush I have, I'm sure you'll want to compose yourself a little." Blake dropped his hand then turned away from her to head inside.
Sam could do nothing but watch him walk away. That wasn't the Blake she knew. He had been more persistant towards the end of things, now he was just leaving her behind back to the way it was when she first arrived the first time. She didn't know which she prefered.
She shook her head and headed up to the loft. She brushed her teeth then tried to calm herself as she splashed the cool water against her warm cheeks.
She dried her face slowly then went to Blake's bed. She sat down on it. Her eyes closed as the wonderful scent of Blake wrapped around her. She laid down curling up with his pillow. She was even more tired than she thought. As her breathing calmed she began to dose, burrying her face against his pillow.
Aaron turned when he heard footsteps coming towards the kitchen, "Hey Blake, what's up?"
"Wow I guess you are cutting onions, man those are strong." He waved his hand in front of his nose trying to give himself some relief from the strong odor.
Jaimie turned from the cutting board, "What are you talking about?"
"Sam's here, she smelled the onions before we even came in through the door, actually barely got on the porch before she rushed away."
