Sam went to the couch and dropped her things on it then herself. She looked at Blake waiting for him to sit with her.

He did but his mind was reeling, "Sammy?" he started but stopped.

"What's the matter Blake?" she turned towards him.

"Is this part of the reason you left?" he whispered as his brown gaze looked around the room. Everything was brand new, leather, and glass. Glass shelves with books, a glass coffee table, and a glass entertainment center.

"What do you mean?" a frown furrowed her brows, her voice laced with confusion.

"All the fancy things, the furniture, everything, the things that if I stay working for Aaron I can't afford to provide for you." Brown met gray.

Sam's eyebrows shot up in horror, "You think that little of me that you'd think these things would keep me away from you?" she stood up from the couch in a flash. "I need you to leave now Blake."

He went to reach for her but she stumbled away from him, "Sam I'm sorry I just wanted to make sure."

"Blake I love you for you, I love you for your understanding, your compassion, and your protection you've given me, I don't want fancy things, I just needed to find myself again, I'm sorry I have to do that by myself." Sam hugged herself tightly, she should have just sucked it up, dealt with everything by herself, she shuddered at the thought.

Blake stood up trying to make another move towards her but she moved away. "Baby, please I'm sorry."

"Just give me some time please Blake." She began to walk away to go to her bedroom.

He sighed as he sat down on the couch running his fingers through his hair then running his hands down over his face. He let out a frustrated sigh. He was never going to get this right. He loved her so much. But he was going to end up losing her.

He slowly got off the couch, he looked around one last time before he decided he needed to leave. He hoped Sam could forgive him and they could be together again. He placed his hand on the door knob, twisted it slowly, and began to walk out.

Just had to give her time he thought as he closed the door gently. He made his way downstairs then out to Aaron's truck, he got into it then headed back home to his small loft, his simple life. At least she knew he would be there for her. Now he had to tell Aaron he screwed it all up again.

Aaron heard his truck coming up the drive. He walked out of the barn but was a little upset he only saw Blake getting out, "How's Sam?" he asked right away.

"I got her home." He said simply.

She all of a sudden was hit with the scent of fish and a wave of nausea hit her again. She stumbled to the bathroom and began to get sick even though she had nothing to get rid of. She moaned as she ran her hands over her face and down her hair. What was wrong with her? She hadn't felt this sick since before Frank had gotten locked up. She sighed heavily as the sickness washed over her again.

Apparently she was just going to have to go to the doctor. She began to get up, brushed her teeth, and began to head to the hospital. She tried Blake one more time as she headed out of the lobby.

Aaron sat on the front porch in one of the wooden gliders he had. He stared up at the stars as he waited for Jaimie. He had a crazy idea, he clutched the black ring box in his hand. He perked up when he heard the sound of crunching stones underneath tires. A smile spread across his face as Jaimie's Jeep came into view.

He began to stride down the stairs and over to the Jeep as it parked and shut off. He held out his hand to her as she went to get out.

"Hey Aaron."

"Hey beautiful," he smiled and pulled her close to him. "I love you."

"I love you too, what's up?" she asked as he pulled her out towards the long grass.

He stopped them as he slipped the box into his pants pocket, "I really love you Jaimie, I've loved you for a very long time and I think we are in a high point of our lives," he began to kneel. "And I don't know how much more we could have going for us, I want to spend the rest of my life with you." He began to pull the box out of his pocket.
