Austin held me up as I grew lightheaded trying to keep my weak grip onto him. I closed my eyes trying to catch my breath but opened them once hearing Austin laugh. I followed his gaze at the floating specimen on the surface of the water before screaming and splashing my hand into the water. "You're going to spread your baby gravy everywhere if you continue to do that."
"T-that's not funny!!" I pushed him back blushing but he quickly retaliated by wrapping his arms around me, "its... embarrassing..."
"It's adorable," he nuzzled his nose into my neck as the feeling of his body pressed up against me didn't help anything at all.
"Ew..." he chuckled again placing one last kiss on my lips before fully cleaning me up and pulling some clothes out of the satchel for me.
"What's wrong with him?" I heard someone whisper, I was walking in the middle of a row in the feeding tent. Many people were here, most of them dressed in a cloth that was beaded with smooth colors around their waist to cover what they didn't want anyone to see, or even a chest wrapping cloth for the women who had a bit extra than men. The bracelets and necklaces making the exact clicking and clanging sound as their earrings nearly driving me insane. Most of them glared at me, my grey sweats held onto my waist and a long sleeve black shirt with only one bracelet on( and that was the one I've received from Malakai). I was the only one really out of place here, or in any other tribe.
"I don't know, I think he's from that southern tribe that go attack."
"Oh! THE ONE WITH THE KID NOT BEING ABLE TO SHIFT!"
"Shhh!!" the girl sharply shushed the other one seeing me look over at them. I didn't really mind the fact of them saying what was true but, I wandered my eyes around the tent seeing almost everyone's eyes on me, this was too much. I turned down a row towards the feasting table where packs or families got some food for each other. I was meaning to get a little something to eat since yesterday when I finished my bath my wolf came back yelling at me. It was quite annoying, he was basically repeating what everyone else was saying; that I should eat to get some energy. Even so, the closer I got to the food, the more sicker I felt. I really didn't feel like eating and I knew if I went back they could tell I was lying if I said I've eaten.
"You're crying," he pointed out flatly lifting my chin up to see me eye to eye. I moved a bit to make the position more comfortable to face him but ended up taking my glance away from him staring at the snow. Once again he pulled my head up gently to make eye contact with him, "What happened?" the seriousness in his voice scared me but at the same time comforted me. Snatching my face out of his grip, I used the sleeve of my shirt to wipe my face dry from tears.
"Some dude-"
"Hurt you!?"
