It was none other than Freya, her very best friend.

"Heyo! Look who decided to call." Jayda beamed on answering the call.

"And, look who decided to not call and didn't bother to inform me that she was going on a honeymoon with her husband until I found out from her mother and the internet." Freya frowned.

"I'm so sorry, ma'am." Shit! How could she have forgotten to tell one of the most awesome people in the world?

"Whatever, I forgive you," Freya giggled, "for the sake of your extremely beautiful future children with Fred." She teased.

"Stop teasing me!" Jayda cried then sat on a bench.

"What? Your mom told me you were about to make a baby when you came over but she unluckily interrupted you."

"What?" She couldn't believe her mom told that to Freya.

"Yeah, but don't worry. You both have all the time in the world to make a baby." Freya laughed so hard.

"It's really not funny," Jayda made sure to sound as serious as ever.

"Also, I want to warn you," wow! So much seriousness in her tone. "I understand all what you've been through and why you might not want to give him a chance in your life but I want you to know that all will be well as long as you make things work out, okay? Learn to trust him and build up your home in the right way." Freya advised.

Wow, so much maturity and sensibility. Jayda thought.

"I understand, I'll definitely heed to your advice." She smiled, feeling very grateful to have such a wonderful friend.

"Anyways, I called to let you know that this crazily hot guy that I had been in love with for a while now and I thought he was in love with me as well," super-excitement shimmered in her tone as her face flushed red.

"Yeah, tell me more, honey." Jayda was definitely expecting good news.

"He asked me to go on a date with him last week then we'd been getting in touch, and, he finally confessed how much he loves me and would love for us to start a relationship." She summarized then squealed, "man, I'm so happy!"

"I'm also happy for you, love."

"I bet you are. I have to get going now, I'll talk to you later. And I'm definitely expecting to get filled with the information of everything that happens between you both."

"Okay." Jayda blushed. She was happy for Freya because she knew how much she had been secretly admiring the man that she refused to let Jayda know his name.

Fred found it funny and couldn't stop laughing.

Jayda was a very terrible swimmer. She couldn't swim and right now she couldn't get to the top of the water. She also couldn't breath; it felt like the most torturing thing in the world, she couldn't catch the thing called air anymore.

Fred still continued to laugh but his sense woke up again and jolted every form of sensibility to spring across his thinking capacity, making him realise that he had thrown Jayda into the water and she hadn't come back up sooner than she ought to.

He jumped into the water as fast as he could.

He found Jayda then tightly grasped her, swimming upwards with her.

Jayda finally felt alive as she gasped for air like a panting dog that had gone on sixteen relay races at a go.

A few people helped him get her out of the water then he got out too.

"I'm so sorry," he apologised to her then rushed to get her a towel and a new robe.

He dried her body with the towel and wore her robe for her.
