Jayda felt a feeling of fear snake down her body on seeing him. She didn't understand why she was scared of him but something about his appearance scared her so bad which wasn't a good thing to her.
She cleared her throat and shook her body weirdly to snap herself back into looking so bold and hiding her fear behind her eyes where they couldn't be found by anyone else except herself.
"Hey, Charles." She waved. Wait? Wave? Was that the right thing she was supposed to do? She thought.
The memories of when he cheated on her with Adalyn and insulted her started to ring in her head and it made her rage intensify.
"I meant what the hell are you doing here?" She frowned this time, yelling haughtily.
"Calm down, please." Charles' voice was way calmer than she had expected. It sent a sense of release to flush in her but she didn't oblige to the relief and chose to remain angry on remembering their last meeting.
"I promise you that I'm not here to harm you. I just want to talk to you, please." Charles pleaded. Sincerity dressed his eyes when she searched for them.
Jayda squinted her eyes at him. This was a 'good for nothing' motherfucking liar that didn't deserve her trust so she wasn't going with him.
Different thoughts kept reeling in her head; how was he in Dubai? How did he know where she was? Did he follow her? Did he track her down here? What did he have to say to her? Why was he speaking so calm? Oh, dammit! How much she hated being curious.
"Else you want me to talk here where people are," he stressed the word 'people' on looking around them. True, a few people already had their eyes on them. "You know, I don't mind blurting things out here but I'm being pretty considerate." Charles smiled but Jayda wasn't sure if it was a smile or a smirk, just as she wasn't sure if she should just go the hell with him.
"Fine, but I'll give you only five minutes to talk to me because you really disgust the fuck out of me." She glared at him.
"Thank you. Five minutes is just enough for me." What? That smile again? Heavens knew how much she wanted to grab a fork to scrape that warm smile from his stupid lips; the lips he had used to kiss her as well as that bitch, Adalyn.
Hesitantly, she followed behind him as he walked, cursing him underneath her breath every second. You definitely couldn't blame her, could you?
Charles chuckled at her reaction.
"Don't you dare chuckle at me, loser." She warned.
"I'm really sorry," he apologized sheepishly.
Charles finally stopped at a corner where there weren't people and there could be privacy.
Turning to Jayda, he heaved a heavy sigh.
"What do you have to say? Be quick!" She spat, staring furiously into his big brown eyes.
"All I want to say is that I'm really sorry for what I did to you." He joined his palms together, placing his joined palms to his nose and shut his eyes on speaking to her.
"Sorry about what? That you cheated on me with some friggin slutty bitch?" She knew she was being too vulgar but she just couldn't help it.
"Yeah, something like that." He nodded dilatorily, opening his eyes to catch her facial expression which displayed nothing but her still-burning infuriation.
"Something like that?" She frowned harder.
"No.... I mean, I've done a lot more than that." He quickly added.
She sized him up with her eyes, "is that all you have to say? If so, I'm leaving." She started to walk away.
"Keep your voice calm." He ordered. His nice and sweet tone was gone. Ha-ha, how much she knew that gentleness was too good to be true.
"I want you." He tightly held her shoulders and curled his other arm around her waist, pressing her body against his forcefully.
"Stop this, jerk! I'm married now." She cried with every form of exasperation stirring up in her.
"So what? I want you, you don't want your husband which equals that you want me as well." He smirked.
She tried pushing him off but he was obviously way stronger than she was.
"Help!" She screamed for help.
"Are you that stupid? Didn't you notice that I intentionally brought you here because it's quiet and nobody can hear your stupid call for help." He said sinisterly.
Geez. What had she gotten herself into?
"You, bastard. I couldn't give you the beating of your life when you broke my heart by cheating on me but I guess that'll have to happen now." She smirked. Wow, so much guts she still had.
"Hm. Tell me how that'll be possible."
He grazed his lip on her neck then whispered into her ears, "don't you like it? I bet your husband has never touched you this lovingly." He teased then squeezed her butt cheek. He was totally wrong. His touch didn't make her go crazy like it used to but it instead made her cringe in irritation and furiousness.
Jayda knew she wasn't a weak woman and wasn't going to let some dimwit just harass her and go free. The worst of it all was that she was never going to do was to cry. She knew this was her only chance to break his wretched bones.
