Mina stood in akimbo. Her eyes scanned everyone and she chuckled at their facial expression. When her eyes landed on Jayda, she eyed her from head to toe with disgust, hate and jealousy laced in her glare.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" Fred barked, standing up. Her presence already irritated him so much. He wanted to get rid of her immediately. He had never stopped to imagine that he was ever going to see her again.
"Calm down, babe." She smirked then moved closer to him. "I'm not here to harm anyone."
"Get out of here!" He screamed. Jayda immediately jumped to her feet then stood in front of Fred, in between both of them.
"What exactly do you want?" She asked, not barking like Fred did.
"Fred," Jayda turned to him and held his face. "Calm down, okay?" She gave an encouraging smile and it helped in calming him.
"Wow. So much love drama." Mina giggled. "At least she's patient."
"I asked for what you're doing here?" Jayda questioned again.
"I'm here for Fred." Mina gently pushed Jayda to the side and walked to Fred, looking up at him."
"I don't want anything to do with you so just leave here, now." Fred declared.
Her facial expression magically transformed to a sad and pitiable one. How the hell was she so good and doing that?! "I know it's hard to believe but I want you to know that I'm really sorry for all I did to you and I genuinely apologize for that. I've made so many mistakes so I'm pleading with you to forgive me." She sobbed, shedding fake tears.
Cora, Freya and Jeremy didn't know what to say to contribute to the matter at hand so they just watched the drama unfold in front of them quietly.
"Why do you need him to forgive you?" Jayda asked in skepticism.
"I really want Fred to forgive me. I've been such a terrible person and I know it so please forgive me, I'll not leave here if he doesn't." She cried.
Jayda was extremely pissed off. She couldn't even imagine that she could be so shameless to come back here, expecting forgiveness after all she had done.
Jayda had asked Fred the reason why he divorced Mina, a few days after their wedding and he had gotten mad at her for asking. Fred had wanted to keep it to himself because he didn't like sharing his secrets, just like Jayda but he was forced to tell her.
"Are you mad? How the fuck did you even come back?" Jayda said.
"Alright, I forgive you. All I want is for you to just get out of my house. I've forgiven you, totally." Fred convinced. He wanted to discharge her as soon as possible.
"Really? Thanks a lot." She sobbed then hugged Fred. She held his hands in hers after pulling away from the hug.
What in the name of holy gorillas was that for? Jayda's head was spinning and bouncing. She now understood why Fred was so angry when she hugged Dave.
"Get away from him." Jayda held her arm and roughly pulled her away from Fred.
Mina yelped then rubbed her arm. "Are you crazy? What the hell is your problem, husband snatcher?" She spat.
"Husband snatcher?" Jayda, Fred and Freya said in unison.
"Yeah, duh. Why else would Fred have divorced me for no completely explainable reason and got married to her in less than a month. Isn't that so obvious?" She air quoted with two of her fingers.
"Security!" Jayda screamed. In no time, three security men ran to her and bowed in respect. "Take the trash out. She must never step foot in this house again or you'll all lose your jobs." She commanded.
"Yes ma'am." They bowed again and carried Mina out, just like the first time she was thrown out of this house.
Jayda returned to them and there was an awkward silence for a while.
Fred made Jayda stand then he spread his legs apart on the couch and made her sit between his legs, hugging her.
"I love you so much. I love your spirit. You placed Mina in her right place." He snickered.
Freya cleared her throat for them to gain her attention. "I have just one question. What exactly did she mean by... the 'One night stand'." She quoted.
"Gosh. Must you know it all?" Jayda groaned, holding Fred's hands.
"Yes, I must. Why else would I ask?" Freya scoffed.
"Exactly. I'm also very eager to know what it is." Cora added.
"Me too. Really eager to know." Jeremy smirked.
"It all happened in a club..." Fred started to explain. For some reason, he felt proud to say it when it was quite embarrassing to Jayda. To Fred, it was the best day of his life; the day he met his queen and was bound to her.
