Jayda's eyes went wide in shock and her jaw fell to the floor. What in the world!

"Where did you get this video from?" She furrowed her forehead in confusion. "Wha– where?" Her hands slapped her mouth.

"You still don't know Roger?" Fred's forehead and eyebrows had crumpled into a serious frown to the extent that he couldn't intensify his frown any further.

"Let me see that." She collected the phone from him and viewed it properly before returning it to him and he slipped it into his sweatpant's pocket. She stared into his eyes for a while, trying to read his emotion properly.

"Fred," she cupped his cheeks. As much as Fred wanted to throw her hands away from his face, he just couldn't do it. Her touch was beyond anything he could ever explain.

Jayda stood on her tippy toes as she pressed her lips against his and kissed him roughly.

Fred's eyes widened in shock but her kiss was slowly melting his anger.

She jumped a little then wrapped her legs around his waist while he held her waist. She led him to the nearest sofa and made him fall to it with his back, still kissing him roughly.

Fred's temporarily dead brain jerked back to life then he pushed her away from him, breaking the kiss, then he sat up straight and she sat beside him.

"What is this for?" He gruffed.

"Calm down." She flashed him a smile then sat on his lap, lacing her fingers behind his neck. Fred wasn't expecting this reaction at all so he was curious as to where it was heading to. "Do you trust me?" She asked, looking very serious.

"Trust you?" He scoffed. "I trusted you with my whole heart and then you... you were there... kissing some fucking asshole!" His anger was building up again as he spoke.

"You're so stupid." She asserted, with a straight poker face.

"Excuse me, what?" He frowned.

"You're really stupid." She chuckled then shifted closer to his chest. "I can never cheat on you. The truth is that I have a twin sister." She shrugged.

"Twin sister?" He raised an eyebrow. His anger suddenly came down completely. "Why should I believe that? Why don't I know about this so-called twin sister?"

"You just have to trust me." She pinched his nose then rubbed her nose against his. "I'd be the most stupid woman on Earth to cheat on you. You're totally amazing and worth dying for." She kissed his nose.

"Twin sister?" He only thought about it properly, feeling entirely relieved and slightly guilty that he didn't trust Jayda. You couldn't blame him, could you?

"Well... Summer Black is my twin sister. You're stupid because you didn't realize that she's slightly taller than me. My parents had us but Summer was always such a bad girl and she always did some illegal stuff, got arrested a lot of times. She betrayed us then eloped with a dumb man. I guess she's left him now." She shrugged.

"Woah. I'm really sorry I doubted you and didn't bother to talk to you about it." He sighed.

"Nah, it's nothing. Anybody would have felt that way too." She kissed his cheek. "Let me see the video again."

Fred took his phone from his pocket then handed it to Jayda, feeling really excited that things were clarified.

Jayda stared at the picture and kept zooming it in and out. Only then was Fred noticing a few differences between them. She swiped on the phone's screen to view the video again and couldn't stop chuckling.

"I'm sorry," Fred wrapped his arms around Jayda's waist.

"No problem." She swiped back to the picture then swiped to the video. Accidentally, Jayda happened to swipe on the phone's screen twice and then... BOOM, a DNA test result.

Fred's heart started to palpitate as Jayda was reading the DNA result.

"Fred?" She was beyond shock. She unconsciously swiped on the phone's screen once more and happened to see the picture of Fred's child. "My goodness!" She screamed in shock, almost dropping the phone to the floor when the child that looked extremely like Fred was on the screen.

"I can explain." He held her arms tightly.

Jayda's eyes were already so glassy and her body was beating; she could feel her heartbeat in her entire body. "You... you have a son?" She said in a whisper.

"Wait, Jay." His voice was cracking.

"Yes or No?!" She screamed.

"Yes." He shouted back while he shut his eyes.

"When? How? Where?" She cupped his face. "Why didn't you ever tell me?"

"Sweetheart, I didn't know. I only found out about it yesterday. You know I said Mina had been disturbing me to come over? She lied that she had you kidnapped so I rushed there and she told me we had a child. I swear I didn't know." He said at a rush. With everything in him, trying to sound convincing.

Jayda was taken aback. She didn't even know what to do. She never saw this coming at all.

"Wh-" Jayda's word was cut off when Fred's phone rang.

"Fred, concerning Mina and the child, Mina also got arrested today." He announced.

"Really? How?" Fred asked.

"I happened to find out that she got into an illegal business deal and was arrested. You don't have to worry about the child anymore."

"Wait, Jeremy." Jayda started. "I know he has a child from Mina and it's not something I'm happy about but I'll have no other option than to accept the child because there's no way Mina can raise that child well enough. It'll be hard for me to accept but..."

"Oh, shut up." Jeremy said boringly and Jayda found the interruption so inappropriate.

"Excuse me?" She frowned.

"You have to let me talk." He scoffed. "I was going to say that you don't have to worry about the child anymore because there wasn't even a child. That picture of your so-called son was an edited photo." He informed them.

"What?!" They both exclaimed in unison.

"Yeah, it was all fake. The illegal business she had done made her go into loss so she was looking for a way to extort money from you." He explained.

"Thank God!" Fred said, feeling extremely happy and relieved.

"Bye, I gotta go now." He said then ended the call.

"I'm really glad about this news. I was going to accept the child but I still had a feeling." She grinned then hugged him tightly. "I love you so much and I promise to trust you forever."

"I love you too and I promise to trust you forever." He said then kissed her lovingly.

Fred broke the kiss then carried Jayda in a bridal style and was headed up the stairs.

"You know what? I was thinking of us going on a trip. We should enjoy our lives and do fun things." Fred suggested.

"That just sounds so great to me." She giggled, placing her hands around his neck.

"Anyways, before our romantic trip, we have a trip to settle in the bedroom." He smirked then kissed her while she giggled like a child. Now, he found her giggle totally adorable.
