Fred started to scratch the back of his neck playfully.
"Who is he?" Jayda re-questioned.
"Roland happens to be a childhood friend of Jeremy and me." He conceded.
"R-really?" She stuttered and another round of tears started to roll down her cheeks.
"Please don't cry." He cupped her face and used his thumbs to wipe her cheeks.
"I'll call him right now, okay?" He smiled.
He reached for his phone in his pockets but it wasn't there. He then remembered that he had frustratedly thrown his phone on the three-seater couch.
"What?" She noticed his uneasiness.
"Well... my phone is... it's at home..." he stammered.
Jayda was about to say something when there was a knock on the door.
"It's me, Doctor Claire." She said from the other side of the door. She didn't want to just barge open the door, just in case they were doing something personal.
"Come in." Jayda ushered her in then she turned the door knob open, firstly peeking before she entered completely.
The young doctor had a beautiful smile on her face as she approached the couple.
"I'm sorry to interrupt you both," she apologized.
"No, no problem at all." Fred uttered.
"Great. I just wanted to let you know that Mrs Jayda can go home now. You just need to sign some things then you both can leave the hospital." She informed them.
"Okay." Fred nodded then got to his feet, "let's go so I can sign whatever it is I need to sign. I'll be right back, Jade." He said and kissed Jayda on the lips. He knew she was very worried about her mother, Samantha so he wanted to hurry up.

"Please be quick." Jayda pleaded. Fred was unlocking the doors as fast as she could but she was still so impatient. Not that he was complaining.
The moment he opened the door, he sprinted to the sofa and found his phone right where he had left it.
He dialed Roland's number, tapping his foot against the floor incessantly. He really hoped Roland didn't hurt his mother-in-law in any way because he knew how dangerous Roland could be when it came to his money.
After the fourth ring, Roland answered his call with a groan.
"What is it, Fred? You haven't called me in months then you decide to call at the wrongest time of all." He ranted.
"Don't you dare hurt my mother-in-law." Those were Fred's words. He spoke with every form of anger.
"Uh... what do you mean?" Roland asked in confusion.
"The woman you took, Samantha Black is my wife's mother." He clarified
"Hey, what do you mean? Mina's mother isn't Samantha. Are you really that crazy? I can see Mina has affected your brain to the peak." He laughed seriously. Roland didn't know Fred had gotten married again because they hadn't discussed it.
"I've divorced Mina since like a billion years and I'm now married to Jayda so please just release Samantha." He said at a go.
"What? And you didn't invite me to your wedding? How come I didn't hear about it? What sort of friend are you?" He frowned.
"Roland, Samantha!" Fred reminded him of what the main point was.
"Chill, bro." Roland chuckled and wore a shit-eating smirk.
"Don't you dare harm my wife's mother." Fred spat.
"You're being rude. And that's too late; she was being quite stubborn so one of my men had to hit her on the face, but don't worry, it isn't that bad." He laughed.
"Roland!" He scowled.
Jayda held Fred's arm, giving him a worried questioning look. She couldn't hear Roland but she wasn't liking how things were being prolonged.
Fred shut his eyes and nodded, assuring her that things were fine.
"Dude, I'm definitely not releasing her without having my money, not even for your sake. You of all people should know that I don't joke with things that have to do with 'my money.' "
He picked her up in a bridal style which caused her to squeak, then he placed her on the bed, climbing the bed as well.
"You ought to show your appreciation more." He said in a hoarse whisper.
Jayda gulped. "Please stop this." She warned.
Fred took her in his embrace then showered kisses on her neck and arms. "I'm not. I deserve something from you for saving Mom."
Jayda had changed her clothes into a short black dress. It made her look more appetizing to Fred and it was making him go crazy.
He finger-combed her long black hair that was a muss above her head whilst kissing her neck.
Fred connected his lips to hers into a long, passionate kiss, sucking every air in her.
As much as she wanted to deny him, her body was going with Fred. His kiss felt like heaven as it made every bit of her have a tingling sensation.
"Fred," His name came out as a moan which was pretty embarrassing to her and it made Fred's smirk grow wider.
Fred professionally pulled her dress above her head and was about to take off his shirt when they were suddenly interrupted by a knock on the door which was accompanied by Samantha's voice.
Fred groaned while Jayda was quick in wearing her dress back.
They both got up from the bed and walked to the door then Fred unlocked it.
"I'm sorry to disturb you guys but I have to tell you that I'll be leaving. I have to attend to something urgently. I'm sorry I wouldn't be able to make the food for you again but I promise to do it on your next visit." Samantha apologized.
"No problem at all," he smiled.
"Once again, I'm sorry for interrupting you both. I can see the hurt in my baby's eyes for disturbing your business." She teased, referring to Jayda.
Jayda winced in embarrassment. "Mom?" She groaned while Samantha and Fred laughed.
"It's not a problem. We can save the rest for later. Plus, we can have way more fun on our honeymoon that will commence next week." Fred dropped the bomb.
"Honeymoon?" Both women exclaimed.
