For the next two months Penelope and I having a standing date night – every Saturday, where we go out and do something together as a couple. The rest of the week we still normally dine together but it is often with AJ, or even the rest of the pack – we're seldom alone. During our alone times together, we learn about one another – our childhoods, friends, family and so on.

The pack knows Penelope and she is friendly with many, even knowing a lot of them by name already. As far as the Midnight Pack is concerned, we have our Luna, and it is just a matter of the ceremony to make it official. Penelope and I haven't discussed that yet – we're making progress, but I think things are good just the way they are.

I would imagine Penelope strongly agrees.

I'm willing to wait for her – I have a lot of confidence in our relationship to build, and trust to earn after everything that happened with my father. The only thing that sucks ass about waiting is not having sex – and it's killing me. We haven't done anything beyond kisses on the cheek – that is all she's given me after two months – kisses on the fucking cheek. I know I have a long way to go to get in 'good' with her, but I thought for sure we'd be at least making out by now, even some under the shirt action but no. Nothing.

My balls are blue, and my hands have blisters – sounds like a country song.

We just arrived and things are already proving interesting – a deceased Alpha, a beautiful she-wolf temporarily in the role of Alpha who was also recently widowed... a new Alpha waiting to be called to task in a few months when he turns eighteen – forced into adulthood too young. Interesting indeed... and as my eyes drift closed my thought inevitably turn to Penelope only this time, her face isn't alone.

Visions of Alpha Sheila keep floating in.
