Alana's POV
"These are so cute." I murmur as I sit squarely on his lap. We were waiting for Jess at the office and I knew it was about to get interesting.
I stared at the picture of me and him, it was the time we had our date at my pastry shop...
"You loved me feeding you." He trades resting his chin on my shoulder and I roll my eyes.
Soon enough, the doors open and I smile as kindly as I could.
"Why is she here?" Jess snaps immediately and I eye her growing stomach.
"I wanted to be here." I keep my smile and stand. "How are you?"
She eyes me in disgust before her eyes land on Aiden.
"Aiden, I need-"
"My wife asked you a question I believe." Aiden tilts his head pulling me back onto his lap and she grits her teeth.
"I'm fine."
"Great, cause she'll be joining us today. Now, babe, Jess is my personal assistant but I have a meeting so you'll be in charge."
"What?" Escapes my mouth too quickly. "I can't run a company!"
"But...you...you own a company."
"Yea, for a pastry shop."
"Pfft it's the same thing."
"It's not!" I whisper yell.
"You got this, I'll be back before lunch, all you have to do is answer calls and schedule meetings. My calendar is over there."
"Your business going down the drain today." I murmur and he chuckles kissing my cheek.
"You'll survive. Anyway," I stand so he could. "I'll see you later. I love you."
I sigh, "I love you too." He pecks my lips and turns to pat Jess's head before leaving. She turns to me with pure fury and I smile.
"Well, I don't like coffee, but since you're pregnant I won't let you get me juice. Just make me some green tea." She clenches her jaw standing, and walking out. I smirk at her back.
This is going to be way too easy.
This is hard.
This is really, really hard.
"I can't do it by tomorrow I'm sorry but-"
"Well too freaking bad! My husband's calendar is full! And if you want this deal you gotta negotiate so if you can't make it tomorrow I don't give a damn. Shove your stupid contract up your-"
"Babe?" Looking up I find Aiden and I slam the phone down.
"How do you deal with these people!" I yell gripping and my curls and he chuckles walking in with a package from my pastry shop.
"It's called negotiating." He leans to kiss my lips and I grunt.
"But they don't want to! They're so stupid! They keep running their mouths and they won't freaking listen. I mean. I understand that-" Smack. His lips are on mine again, silencing me, and this time, he drops the package and lifts me, my skirt riding up. He places me on his desk, never leaving my lips and his tongue exploring my mouth.
Pulling away, I was breathless.
"You're so adorable when you rant." He smirks and I blush, reaching for his buttons as he takes off his jacket, and rubs my thighs.
"So that's what she's here for." Rang an annoying voice and I sigh, leaning my head against his chest. "Your personal sex toy."
"I didn't realize people could get married to sex toys?" I pretend to be surprised and she shoots a glare.
"I'm done." She slams the papers down on the table and I slightly push him away getting off and fixing my blouse.
"You can leave now Jess."
"I have an appointment tomorrow." She smirks at me.
"Okay, we'll both be joining you." He nods and she scowls.
"Babe it's okay I have some things to take care of at the shop anyway." I shrug and he glares at me. "I'm serious." I purse my lips to keep from laughing.
"Then it's settled you and me, four o'clock." She winks at him before leaving and he sighs.
"Baby..."
"I trust you," I tell him and he smirks softly.
"I love you, babe." He breathes out, burying his face in my neck and I chuckle.
"I love you more."
"WHEN YOU SAY YOU LOVE ME!"
"Do you really want to know?"
"No! Get out." Aiden yells and I wiggle my eyebrows at Trina as she leaves.
As soon as they leave Aiden is pressed up against me and I roll my eyes.
"Stop it, you horny teenager." I tease and he chuckles.
"You like it." He murmurs as he plays with the fabric of my shirt.
Nudge.
Nudge.
Nudge.
If they don't-
Nudge.
I immediately swing my hand at the person who was interrupting my sleep and loud slap echos throughout the room.
Sheet.
I shoot up and find Aiden gripping his arm.
"Ow woman!" He yells and I smile sheepishly.
"I'm sorry." I grin, kissing his arm and he rolls his hand slowly pushing my head away with a finger.
"Don't touch me." He jokes and I raise both palms.
"Whatever you say." He rolls his eyes at me, suddenly pulling me to him and I keep my arms crossed.
"The doctors said that he made it..." he murmurs after a while and I process the words before sighing.
"I'm happy," I state truthfully.
"You just saved a life...a life that wasn't even worthy of saving."
"We all make mistakes baby..." I mumble and he plants a kiss on my temple.
"And I guess you're here to fix them."
