Alana's POV
"I'm here!" Trina screams and Aiden rolls his eyes. He was shirtless, cleaning the stove while I swept and I grinned.
"Hello, baby!" I jump on her and she falls under my weight.
"Jeez." She wheezes and I stand.
"Where's James?" I ask as she stands and she shrugs.
"Am I his keeper? I'll be in my room unpacking."
"Uh, you said sleepover," I state raising an eyebrow.
"I didn't say how long I was going to sleep over." She winks leaving and I sigh.
"You did this." Aiden points at me and I gape.
"Hey! You encouraged me."
"No, I didn't."
"Yes, you did!" I stomp my foot and cross my arms grumpily and he chuckles walking over to me.
"Alright, I guess I did." He pulls me to him and I turn my head while he tries to kiss me. He just lays kisses all over the side of my face and neck, anywhere he could and I end up giggling.
"Okay okay." I move away smiling and he gives me a flat face. "What?" He points to his lips and I sigh, standing on my toes and planting a kiss on his lips.
"I expect more later." He winks slapping my butt and I chuckle.
"Of course you do."
"Babe I just don't think that's how it goes," I tell Aiden as he tries to squeeze a whole lemon into the salad.
"Shh, I got this baby." He pecks my lips and I roll my eyes raising both palms.
"Where's James?" I ask him and he eyes me.
"Why are you so intrigued with him?"
"Are you jealous babe?" I tease and he snorts.
"No. I'm just asking..."
"I don't know." He shrugs.
"Trina's just locked in her room. And I'm lonely. I need attention!" I lay myself dramatically against the counter and I can hear him chuckle. The tap runs and closes. Soon, he's lifting my shirt, placing kisses up my stomach.
"Ever wanted to experience sex in the kitchen?" He smirks and I snort.
"We have a guest."
"You've used that one already."
"Babe no." I move and he whines. "Damn boy, just keep it in your pants." He rolls his eyes and I giggle, smacking his butt.
He turns, stunned as he points the spatula at me.
"I'm here!" James announces barging through.
"Let's make a cake." He says rubbing my legs and I raise an eyebrow. "Y'know, so maybe I could cover you in icing and-"
"Oh my gosh!" I block my ears and he chuckles. "I think I'm gonna call my dad." He nods, letting me go and I grab my phone.
"Hello?" Rings his rusty voice.
"Hey...dad."
"Oh! Alana!" He chirps and I smile.
"How's everything?" I ask him.
"Well...they said I'll be just fine, I got it done in time and everything's okay. I'll be released in a few days."
"That's great," I say truthfully and it gets quiet.
"Thank you..." He says. "I don't deserve it...but you helped me anyway."
"You're welcome."
"Have you...have you made a decision?" He asks, almost afraid and I gulp.
"Yea..." My voice is hoarse. "I don't think I'll be able to um...I don't think I can start over I would rather us...go our separate ways." I hear his heavy breathing.
"I understand...can I see you one more time before I leave?" He asks and I nod as if he can see me, tears pricking my eyes.
"Yes." My voice cracks. "I'll be there tonight. Don't expect me early though." I state looking at James as he sits on Aiden. Aiden immediately gets up falling off his chair startled and I smile, holding back a laugh.
"I'll see you then..."
