It been a month now since my parents kicked me out and forbade me to see Angel. It's been hell.

I am like a ship lost at sea. I have been a shell of my self. No. Scrap that, I have been a wose version of my self. Lashing out at every little mistake from my workers, putting all my energy into work without rest which almost killed my employees.

I pretend not to notice the terrified look on their faces when I work into the room. The trembling and whispers. I don't care. I just want Angel back.

How is Angel doing. It must be horrible. My line as been changed and with the looks of it, all Angels internet devices have been confiscated.

How is mum?

What does dad thinks of me now? What about Nicole?

I tore our family apart...

I can't seem to get the broken look on my mums face out of my head. She was devastated and Angel was no better.

Therapy as been a night mare. It's clearly not working. Not like I even take it seriously.

Nora has been calling my phone non stop in which I refused to pick.

I had also instructed the securities and all my workers not to let her into my office Or even this building.

I haven't been back home since the insident. I just couldn't. It'll kill me.

I have refused to have any extra project undertaken or see new clients. I can't possibly deal with people. My P.A. covers that for me to which I'm thankful for.

The sudden knock on my door makes me Jolt out of my thought.

After asking who ever it is to come in, it turned out to be my P.A Joshua.

"Sir, I'm so sorry to disturb you but I think you should know about this." He said looking worriedly pale.

"Just say it already!" I snapped at him.

"I just thought you'd want to know that Miss Nora after standing outside for the whole day without rest collapsed in front of the reception and as been rushed to the hospital.

"What did you just say?..." I Asked with a low voice. Too shocked to react.

"Sir , she fainted... but that's not the crucial part. From what the security told me, it appears serious. I was told she fell on her stomach, hitting the ground hard causing her to bleed." He said looking like he would very much avoid being the messenger of doom. If he could.

"What?!!" I yelled standing up from my sit with a force that sent it flying.

"Sir please calm down. She as been rushed to the hospital. I will immidatly get your car prepared. I know where they admitted her." He said trying to be the rational one of us both.

No, no...I didn't mean for any of this to happen. This wasn't my plan I just wanted to get away from everyone. I wanted her to get a clear message that nothing can happen between us more than it already has. But look were it all ended.

"Get those security me on duty today fired"

"Yes sir."He said as he led the way to the parking lot with hurried steps.

I was filled with worry and guilt. Though I had not confirmed if the baby was mine or not, it's still an innocent soul.

All the way to the hospital I couldn't help but think the worst. What if she had complications? What if something happens to the baby? Or worse, the both of them? I kept asking the lord to have mercy.

On geting to the hospital, I saw the reception matron and asked her to let me see Nora. She asked me who I was to the patient clearly not recognizing me. If she did she wouldn't even ask.

"I'm her baby's father." I told her.

"Oh? But that can't be right sir. We had called the last number on her call log and the man who picked told us he was her boyfriend and the baby's father. He sounded so convining." She said the last part more to herself than to me. This made me frown.

"What did you just say?" I asked no one in particular.

"Sir, I dont know what's wrong, but I can't let you see her. Untill this issue is resolved." She told me pointedly.

"Matron, there must be a misunderstanding. I'm here to se Leonora Frost"I said not making sense of the whole situation.

"Sir, please give me a moment and I'll be back." she said excusing herself before I could respond. Sooon I see her tailing behind a man in white uniform who I assumed to be a doctor.

"Doctor here is the man claiming to be the babies father of the woman who was rushed in a while back."

"Good evening doctor please I don't understand what's happening how is Nora why won't they let me see her?" I asked frustrated.

The man who was no older than I was but seemed to have seen more of life diverse colours enough to be unaffected look me in the eyes as something like recognition flashed in those orbs of his. Mr Jackson Westfield? He said in doubt.

"You know me?" I asked surprised

"Of cause I do. You are my son's hero." He told me with a sheepish grin.

"Oh, it's an honor doctor. Please send my greetings to your son if it's fine by you he could come for a private tour at the company." I said giving the man my business card which he kindly refused.

"Thank you so much sir. But unfortunately, we as Doctors are not allowed to receive preferential treatment of any kind from patients or their relatives" he informed me.

"Oh... But this shouldn't be considered preferential treatment. But if you say so, I hope I get to meet my number one fan one of this days." I said with a smile.

"That can be arranged." He said with a grin of his own.

"Doctor, what is this I here about someone else claiming to be the father of my child? I asked him." Now all jokes aside. If he knew me enough to recognize me, which not everybody does, then he should also know about my relationship with Nora."

"Oh sir, it's probably a mixup. May I invite you to my office to discuss about the patients condition while I ask someone go get this supposed boyfriend to come see me?" he asked giving the Matron who had a confused look a pointed glance.

As we got to is office, he went straight to the point after we both took our sit.

"Sir, I dont know how to put this in a nice way. The truth is miss Nora condition is bad. Her body as weakened through the past month due to lack of rest and malnurishment. It's a miracle the baby survived till now. With all this coupled with the fall, im afraid we will have to keep her here for close monitoring. I'll also need you to sign some documents giving us permission to take out the baby before due date if in a state of emergency the need arise for it." He stated

"Doctor, will that harm the mother or the baby in anyway?" I asked a little worried.

"No, no not at all. If such case arises, it means it's the only way to if not save both, save at least one of them." He explained
