"Jack... Jack... "I heard a soft voice call faintly. It sounded so familiar. Too familiar I almost couldn't believe it.

"Jack..." I heard the voice that sounded so much like Angel's call out again. This time I felt a warm hand tapping my shoulder. Making me raise my head from the hedge hospital bed.

I went still with shock immediately. Mouth hanging opening at the sight before me.

Blues...two breath taking blue globes staring softly into my eyes.

"A_angel?" I choked out finding it hard to believe this was real.

I lifted my hands shakily to touch her cheek making her close her eyes in response.

"No don't close them. I need them open to be sure this is real." I whispered not once taking my eyes of off her.

I hear her let out a little chuckle as her dainty body shook ever so gently

"Angel...it is really you....y_you are awake..." I said in a low voice.

"Hey...why are you crying old man? On your birthday at that. It's forbidden."

She said as she wiped those treacherous tears off my chin that I didn't know had started to fall. I guess they were waiting to see her. That's why they refused to fall all this time.

"Happy birthday Jack... Of cause I'm awake. I couldn't miss this moment for anything in the word." She said with a warm smile and love filled eyes.

"I missed you so much..."I choked out as fresh tears streamed down my eyes. I didn't care that I was a grown ass man. Right now all that mattered was the woman in front of me.

"I love you... "I heard her whispered as she move closer kissing away the tears on my face. Every single place her lips touched burn in a comforting way. I wanted to stay like this forever.

Before I could react or do anything else, she had moved away as quickly as she drew close.

Looking up in confusion I find a teary Angel staring intently at me with an expression I can only describe as sadness. But why? Before I could voice out my thoughts she spoke.

"I'm sorry Jack... Please forgive me..." She said in a sad voice.

"Hey, what are you saying?" I asked confused, trying to move closer to her hand have her in my embrace.

But before I could, something terrible began to happen.

Right before my very eyes, the love of my life begins to fade.

I was beyond terrified.

"No, no, no. Angel please don't do this..." I say frantically trying to hold on to her...or what was left of her essence.

"Angel!!! Don't go... please! Don't do this... Doctor help! What's happening?"I call out but it doesn't stop what's happening from happening.

Like always, there was nothing I could do but watch her leave.

"Ahhh!!!!! No, no, no, no, no! Angel!!!"

I scream searching around the room for her like a crazed man.

Realising she was gone, probably forever this time made my heart sink to the pit of my stomach as my legs gave out and I ended on the cold white hospital tile.

"Sir, sir? Excuse me sir, we are about to close for the day. "

I heard a voice at the back of my raging mind.

I was jolt awake by the feeling of a cold, firm hand griping my shoulder, shaking me slightly.

_Angel!" I called out as I opened my eyes, frantically searching the room for her.

It took a while for me to notice that this place looks nothing like a hospital.
