Pen-Chan

"Please!" It's this dream again. No matter how much Chan begs this person in front of him does not allow him to walk away. Behind him, stands someone else. Someone his heart tells him he should protect. Chan's heart is racing and he is so afraid. Faces are blurry but the person he is trying to protect clings to him. He should protect them; He should fight as hard as he can.

Chan feels as if he is being split in half. He shifts and tells that person to stay behind him but he is pulled back from his strongest form. He can see a hand reach out to his and scream his name. The person's voice is desperate. Chan wants to shout back this person's name and he does but the name comes out muted to his own ears. All he can see is that person's hand before they are ripped away from each other.

Pen-Chan sits up from his bed; sweating. This is the same dream he's had since he was five. It's more of a nightmare than a dream. As much as he tries to reach that person or see that person's face he can't. All Chan can see is that small hand that reaches out to him.

Each morning when he awakens from that dream Chan lays in his bed feeling uneasy. There's a desperate want in his heart. Chan wants to run out of his room, out of his apartment and run outside without looking back to search for that person.

Chan doesn't tell anyone. Most of his life he's had this dream but he can't share this. At first, he thinks it's a dream but... how can it feel so real. He doesn't remember anything like this happening. There are some things that don't make sense and yet what's most confusing is the way his heart reacts to this dream.

"Chan. It's time for school!"

"Coming P'Apple." Getting up from his bed Chan sighs and readies himself for school. His mother and Father arranged for he and Apple to have a place together. His first year had been quite hectic moving back and Pon from Sun Clan back to Moon Clan every day. It had been exhausting and in the end, his parents allowed he and Apple to get an apartment together in Sun lands.

Their parents, for the most part, were busy. His father was not only running a successful company but had the entire Moon Clan to take care of as High Alpha of their clan. His mother, on the other hand, was an elite socialite.

As a child, Pen Chan remembered being around his mother a lot. They spent most of their days together as both his father and P'Apple were living in Thailand. Once he grew up, while he was close to his mother, there were things that he did not talk to her about. It became clear to both he and Apple that his mother disliked people, not of their circle or status.

While his mother could stand to be around other Alpha's and their mates, it was apparent to him and Apple that his mother disliked regular wolves. She thought of them as beneath her, and although Pen-Cha loved his mother he thought she was wrong. This was one of the reasons Chan tried his best not to bring friends home unless it was Aat who was third Alpha's son and would inherit that position himself.

Then there was Beta's something that his mother was and Chan found it odd that even they seemed to be less than his mother. Apple would roll her eyes at her mother but even so, she shared most of her life with her. Her mother seemed quite pleased with Apple and P'Coach's relationship. She doted on her daughter and supported her. Apple had nothing to complain about as did Chan. Their mother had her flaws but she loved them and she tried. For them.

Chan remembers how uncomfortable his mother had been when Apple had introduced P'Rak and P'Ken to her. She'd brought over P'Ruby and P'Tee along as well. It became clear then that his mother was against same-sex relationships. Apple became extremely sad after that. P'Coach's younger brother Game was an omega and though their mother tried to be subtle about it, it was clear she disliked Omegas as well. Needless to say, that when High Alpha Sun adopted an Omega and Apple had befriended Son everyone including their father kept their mouth shut.

"Let her meet him when it's the right time." Their father has said. It was the first secret everyone collectively held from his mother. But it wasn't the only secret Chan kept from his family. Chan remembers when he first met P'Son.

It was his first day back at school. Coincidentally enough, it had also been P'Son's first day. Everyone at school was buzzing about the Omega that was arriving.

"What's the big deal with an Omega? Isn't he just a wolf himself only... he can have kids right?" Chan thought to himself. He and Aat were walking the halls the first day heading towards their classes. While he and Aat both walked the halls every first-year student looked more than a little nervous but they seemed to be intimidated as they glanced at them. Aat was an Alpha wolf and he would be fourth in their clan. Chan himself was the High Alpha's son they were the strongest and most powerful wolves in school.

Their aura of wolves was higher than all of the rest and people seemed to part, looking down as if bowing their heads in submission to both wolves that were of higher rank. Pen-Chan hated that, he was feared not respected and that pissed him off.

"What's with the two lunches?" Aat questioned looking down at Chan's hands.

"Oh! Save me a seat I need to give this to P'Apple," Chan spoke to Aat who nodded and just like that, Chan was on his way. He'd text-messaged his sister who let him know where her classroom was located.

In the distance, Pen-Chan could see his sister and her friends. However, Chan could see someone else with them. The closer Chan got, he realized it was the new Omega. Chan didn't really care about it. He knew a few Omegas already seeing as their pack had the most Omegas in Thailand. There were four Omegas in the Moon clan as opposed to Sun Clan where there were only two. His mother had not been happy about that.

"How can we have more of those... people than Sun Clan." Chan had only rolled his eyes at her as had his sister.

Chan wasn't at all curious about who this person was. However, as he was a few feet away from him he smelled it. Why was this Omega smelling like a regular wolf? There was a feeling deep within Pen-Chan's chest that made him feel disgusted. Not at this person but at the smell. It felt... wrong... as if the smell did not belong. It made Chan mad and made him want to rip away the scent and replace it with something else.

While he looked at the boy from far away Chan was taken back by his own thoughts. This boy was Chai-Son Sun, Chan was sure of that. This boy was short. Sure, he wasn't the shortest person Chan had ever seen, but his sister, P'Ruby, P'Tee, P'Ken, and P'Rak were much taller than he was. He looked younger than them as well. Chan had not seen his eyes that clearly yet. But his pink pouty lips and chubby cheeks made him look...cute.

There was a feeling in his chest which Chan could not describe and that confused the hell out of him. His heart was racing as he approached this person. He wasn't being looked at they were talking amongst one another. Chan could only grab tightly on to the lunch that was in his hand. His palms began to sweat as he approached this cute person. Hearing him laugh, watching a smile light up his face, he was so... beautiful.

At the moment his mind had gone blank and when that cute face stood in front of him, his pale skin and that dark hair contrasted with the pink hue that beautifully painted his cheeks. He was so... angelic. For a second, Chan was afraid he had spoken out loud.

However, he realized he had not as everyone still had yet to notice him standing there. That was until that cute P' looked at him. Chan's breath caught in his throat but he managed to suppress these feelings as panic settled in him. He needed to leave, quick.

With his best diplomatic smile, he looked back at the cute Omega and gave a polite wai.

"Swadeehap P' My name is Pen-Chan Moon."

"Look away Chan." He had to remind himself. Forcing himself to look away from the cute P'. Chan turned to his sister.

"You forgot this at home."

"Thanks." If you were to ask Chan what was being said after he was unsure. It was as if all his senses were concentrated on that person a few inches away from him. Chan felt chills and his heart continued to pound so loudly he was afraid his sister and her friends would hear it.

"What is wrong with me?"

He was aware that person was looking his way. Chan tried hard to keep his eyes away from him. He felt a sharp pinch on his arm and frowned at his sister.

"Chan. P'Tee asked you a question."

"Huh?"

"I asked if you wanted to come with us after school. We're going to play basketball at the court with some of our friends."

"Son are you okay?" Ruby's question to P'Son caused Chan to turn to look at the boy who now looked terrified. There was something in his eyes which made Chan want to protect him. Yet there was this feeling deep in his chest when their eyes met again. Son went pale and he looked visibly stressed.

"I'm not feeling very well I need to go to the restroom." Chan watched the boy walk away and his sister then hit him.

"Ouch! Stop that P'Apple!"

"You scared Son!" Chan went silent, unsure of what to say. Had he really? He had not meant to do that.
