"I can help you read." I suggested as I squeezed her hand that was still intertwined with mine. Her round eyes widened and a small smile broke on her lips.
"You will?" She exclaimed as I chuckled at her reaction.
"Of course." I said as I sipped her delicious tea.
"How about tomorrow? I am really tired right now." She nodded her head with that smile still playing her lips. My eyes kept gazing at her with a smirk as her were on me and soon she realized that she was staring at me, her eyes cast down with a deep blush on her cheek.
I was done with my tea and went straight to the bed with her, I already changed into my trousers as I watched her sleep on the other side with her eyes closed. I kept staring at her for a good 2 minutes before sleep took over me.
Janet Rivera's POV
I was in a beautiful field running as the colorful flowers tickled my feet. The scenery was beautiful as the sun was setting. I was laughing heartily as I watched Nathan behind me, chasing me.
"I will catch you, my dear." He teased as I kept laughing. All of sudden it started to get dark making my fear crept up on me. I watched behind me to find Nathan but he was not there. The women who made my life a living hell stood there. She was watching me with that evil smile that feared me to the core. Suddenly, I couldn't breathe as I clutched my chest trying to breath.
"Run Janet! Run!" I heard that soothing voice again. The one I missed so much. That same voice who gave me life, who showed me happiness but left me when I needed her the most. I listened her voice clearly and ran for my life. I kept running until I hit a wall and fell in the ground. I was already crying as her shadow was getting close, I didn't scream but cried as she got closer with each breath.
"I got you now!" She laughed like a maniac as I curled up to the wall.
I jumped from the bed as my breathing were out of control. I looked around to see myself on the bed with Nathan sleeping beside me. Once my breathing was in control, I wiped my tears away. I was glad that he didn't wake up otherwise it would be hard to explain.
I remember the last time I had a nightmare; it was weeks ago. I was glad that both times he didn't wake up. I kept watching him, as his lips were little apart making him look adorable. I smiled looking at him as I can't believe my life change in only a few weeks. I was happy and I never wanted to look back to what happened to me in the past. I laid on the bed and gazed at him, he was the most sweet and handsome man in my life. I leaned closer to him slowly without waking him up, close enough to feel his breath. I gulped as my eyes went down to his lips. It was small and so red. I shifted my head and laid my lips on the corner of his lips. I touched only for a second before I pulled away a little. I didn't dare to move; my eyes studied his beautiful features as I felt my heart explode at the feeling. I went back to where I was laid before as my cheeks start to heat up.
Is this how it feels to kiss someone?
I couldn't believe what I did. Should I tell him or no? No, I will not tell this to him. Never! This was not supposed to happen. I quickly pulled the blanket on top of my head and tried to sleep which came to after 30 minutes of thinking.
*******
"So, you can name the alphabets?" He asked as I stared at the book and nodded again.
"What is this letter?" He asked, pointing to the letter 'j'.
"It's j." I said simply.
"So, I want you to spell all the letters of this word."
"J. O. L. L. Y" I answered him with a shy smile.
"Now I want you to try to say the whole word." He kept teaching me for I don't know hours. I was tired by now and he enjoyed teaching me.
I ran from the study room when I finished at least 10 pages and went to change my clothes so he can take me outside. We both freshened up and soon we were in the car, he had my hand in his as he drove the car with a sly smile. We stopped in front of a large and wide building. It was a mall, I remember coming here to get toys and stuff, well not this mall exactly.
