"I turned when I was ten and Rachel turned when she was thirteen", Hannah says.

"By the way, all your presents are left at the pack house", he says.

"Pack house?" I ask.

"Oh yeah, well remember my house and it's so big, that's because it's not my house it's the whole pack's house. Everyone in our pack lives there except for Hannah's, Rachel's and your family", he says.

"Well my family are moving in there in a few days", Rachel says.

"And so are my family", Hannah says.

"What, you guys can't move", I say. I can't lose my best friends.

"Hey we'll still see you the same amount of times we see you now, it's just a new house. And when you come over you can meet the rest of the pack but you know most of them anyway", Rachel says.

Okay I guess I'm not going to lose them, thankfully. After school Rachel, Hannah, Damian and I go to the pack house. We were going to open up my presents, which may take a long time. I'll need like a truck to bring them all home. When we arrive there I see some of my friends, one or two of them I didn't recognise. I guess they were right about me knowing most of the pack already.

"So you know now, huh?" Paul asks. I nod.

"Nick, Kevin I'm sorry about yesterday you were just asking if I was okay I shouldn't have snapped at you both like that, I'm really sorry", I say.

"It's alright Amber, you were right to react like that, it's a lot to take in", Nick says.

"You just found out and were upset, it's fine", Kevin says. I'm glad they're not mad at me.

"You better get going on those presents", Damian smiles. I nod and start on the first one. After opening lots of clothes, jewellery, electronics, make-up, music and books we had them all opened. It took a while but it's done.

"That's a lot of wrapping paper", Hannah says. We laugh. I look around the room, shit she was right! There were shit loads of wrapping paper around us.

"Hey you never told me when you changed?" I ask Damian.

"When I was five, all Alpha's turn when they're five", he says.

"Wow that must have been a weird childhood", I say.

"Actually it was better than most childhoods, I was faster and stronger anyone my age but sometimes I felt different from everyone else but it never ruined my childhood", he says.

"That's good", I say and kiss his cheek.

"Only the cheek?" he pouts.

"Of course".

"Great, what about Ellen?" It's not Ellen's fault he's her mate, I can't be mad at her. I know what it's like to love someone.

"Of course, I've missed her too", I say honestly.

"She's missed you so much too, do you want to see her?"

"Okay". I follow him into a room, Ellen was on a laptop. She looks up from it and her eyes go wide.

"I'll give you girls time to catch up", he says, leaving the room. I sit down beside her on the couch. She still looked shock so I decide to talk first.

"Ellen I'm sorry, I didn't know you guys were mates. I've been so immature-" she interrupts me by pulling me into a bear hug. I laugh. Okay she was starting to squeeze a tiny bit too hard. "Um Ellen, you're squeezing too hard". She pulls back straight away.

"I'm so sorry Amber, I've just missed you too much and I'm still trying to control my strength", she says.

"So you've been a werewolf for a whole year now", I say.

"Yeah two years in nine months, I'm still trying to get a hang of the whole strength and speed". I nod. "I'm sorry too, I didn't mean to steal Dean away from you. You were my best friend I would never do that". Ellen, Rachel, Hannah used to be my best friends. Then Ellen left but now we can be best friends again, I hope. Ellen's also Damian's sister so she came over a lot of the time when Damian was with my brother, that's how we became friends.
