"I know it's okay, you had no choice. I understand what it's like with mates".
"Oh yeah congratulations on you and Damian. He came home last night saying how happy he was and how amazing you were". I laugh.
"Really?"
"Yeah really, he loves you lots. I've never seen him happier in his whole life". I smile, I hope he really is happy. "Can we be best friends again?"
"I'd love to". She pulls me into another hug again and I chuckle. I really have missed her and Dean. The alarm on my phone goes off. I set it to remind me to go home, Devon was going to help me with some exercises to find my wolf. "I have to go, see you later Ellen".
"Bye Amber". I wave goodbye and close the door behind me.
"Damian I have to go, bye".
"Where are you going?" he asks.
"Devon's going to help with some of those exercises", I say, going to the door.
"Do you want me to help you too?"
"No it's fine, I'll just see you tomorrow".
"Okay then, good luck. Bye baby". He wraps his arms around me and we make out. He lifts my body off the ground a few centimetres.
"God, do it in the bedroom, not in front of everyone", Simon says. I laugh and he puts me down.
"Bye", I say. He gives me a quick kiss and I walk back to my house.
***********
"Well you almost did it, you're not one yet. But you've seen your wolf, you need to wait and let her come nearer then when she's as near as she can get you should turn into one". I nod and lie back down on the bed. I close my eyes and relax again. A few minutes later I see her again. Wow, that was me? In my wolf form? But she's so beautiful and I'm so.... She starts walking over to me and as she gets closer I notice more of her features. Then she gets as near as she can and my whole body aches with pain. I let a yelp of pain out of me and fall onto the ground.
When I open my eyes again I see Devon looking down at me with concern. I turn my head and look around the room. I could see everything clearer and in more detail. My sense of smell was going nuts and I could hear noises coming from outside? Am I a werewolf now? Cause it sure feels like it. I feel so different? I saw everything differently too.
"Do you want to stand up?" he asks. I try and stand up. I look down at my feet, wait I mean paws? Am I in my wolf form now? When I was standing I was taller than Devon, wow I must be very tall in wolf form because Devon's like 6 foot 4. "So what's it like being taller than me? I laughed but it came out as a weird barking sound. He had to get on his tippy toes to rub my head. "On second thought I'll just rub your back". He rubs my back. "You look so beautiful". I know right?! Now how do I turn back? "To turn back you just imagine yourself in your human form". It's that easy? I imagine myself and I get smaller.
"Holy shit", I gasp. He laughs.
"So now you're a werewolf". I look down at my body, okay I'm a human again. He gives me a hug and I wrap my arms around his neck. "You're very strong".
"Oh sorry, am I hurting you". I pull back.
"It's okay. We'll have to teach you to control your strength". How long's that going to take because Ellen is still trying to control hers and she's been a werewolf for a year. Devon does a few exercises with me to control my strength, I'm doing good so far.
