"Yep, let's go". I take her hand and we go downstairs. The music was loud and people were dancing. It was Devon's birthday party, he finally turned 18 today, but unfortunately he hasn't found his mate. So since he hasn't found his mate today, he'll know his mate the minute he lays eyes on her. "Happy birthday big brother". Devon gets off a chair and hugs Amber.

"Thanks little sis, you look amazing", he says. Amber thanks him.

"You still upset?" I ask.

"A bit, but it's my birthday I'll cheer up", he says. He was upset earlier because he didn't find his mate like werewolves usually do. Amber covers her mouth with her hand and holds onto a couch for support. "Amber are you okay?"

"Yeah...I'm fine", she whispers. She sure doesn't look it.

"No you're not, let's get you resting", I say, taking her hand. She shakes her head.

"You're feeling sick?" Devon asks.

"Yes, she felt sick earlier and now she's going to bed", I say.

"I wasn't sick earlier on and I'm not sick now", she says. She covers her mouth again and holds her stomach. "I need to go". She flits out of the room and down the hall. I look at Devon and he looks shocked too.

"I'm going to check is she's alright", I say.

"I'm checking too", he says. We go down the hall and find people gathered around Amber. Kevin was holding her and rubbing her back. All the people were cringing and looking at the ground.

"Oh god dude, your girlfriend's after getting sick everywhere", Simon says. Devon and I look down at the ground near Amber and see the vomit on the ground.

"Paul get out of the toilet now", Nick says, banging on the door.

"I'm coming for the last time, what's the rush", Paul says, opening the toilet door.

This girl was perfect in every way. I pull the covers over her fully and go into our bathroom for a basin. I grab it off a shelf and leave it beside her on the drawer. I flit back downstairs and boil up the kettle for a hot water bottle. Devon comes in and leans against a counter.

"Is Amber okay? She was in there a while?" he asks.

"Yeah twenty-five minutes of puking, but she's okay now. She's almost asleep up in bed", I say.

"Wow, twenty-five minutes!" I nod, I know I can't believe it either. "She must have a really bad bug".

"I know, but hopefully she'll be back to normal tomorrow". Andrea comes in the kitchen and wraps her arms around Devon's waist.

"Since you haven't found your mate, how about I cheer you up for your birthday and get your mind of things?" she suggests seductively. Devon smirks and faces her. He kisses her passionately and I laugh at them in my head as I grab the hot water bottle.
