"Get better Amber", they say as they go out the door. I laugh softly. I rest my head back and close my eyes. I imagine what it would be like if I was pregnant. Would I still live here and be going out with Damian? Would he leave me and make me get an abortion? I would never kill my own baby. I fall asleep as I think about it. When I wake up Damian was there beside me, looking at me. I hate making him worry. I must have been asleep long if school's over.
"Hey baby", he says softly.
"I'm sorry about earlier".
"No need to apologise, I was surrounding you too much and not giving you any space. If you want I can lay off a while, I don't want to make you upset".
"You're not making me upset, I want your company. You make me feel loved, safe and protected. I don't want you to leave me ever".
"Good because I never want to leave your side", he takes my hand and squeezes it. I wonder if he'll still say those words after I tell him we might be expecting.
"Can we talk upstairs?" I ask.
"What about?" he asks curiously.
"I need to tell you something important", I whisper. He looks at me with more concern.
"Yeah, of course we can". I get off the couch. "Want a piggy back ride to our bedroom?" I chuckle at the thought. What the heck, okay.
"Sure", I say. I jump on his back and he holds my legs. He counts down from three....two.....one! He flits upstairs and I giggle. I felt a bit dizzy when he let me down. I sit down on the bed and he sits beside me.
"What is it you need to tell me?"
"I-I uh....don't...really kn-know how to tell you", I stutter out the words.
"Just tell me Amber, whatever it is, it will be fine. You can tell me anything, no matter what it is; bad or good". He caresses my thumb and kisses my cheek. He slowly pulls back and kisses me on the lips this time. I never wanted to pull back from him. I wanted the kiss to last forever. I want him forever, always by me, never to part with me.
"I need you to get me something".
"What do you need? Medicine?"
"No something else".
"Oh is it you know? Girl things you need. I don't mind getting them for you". Oh god he's talking about sanitary pads. No I need a pregnancy test which is probably the opposite to my period. But it's sweet that he would willingly buy them for me.
"Actually it's kind of the opposite, you see I think I'm...."
"Aw baby, don't be scared. Everything will be fine because I'm never leaving your side. I'll help you through it all I promise during and after". Now I was crying with happiness, so our baby will have their Daddy. "Imagine in a few months' time it will be the four of us".
"Hold on a moment? Four? It's three; you, me and the baby. Who's the other one?"
"Well werewolves have more of a chance of twins and Alphas has an even more higher chance. So since I'm the Alpha we're probably having twins", he says excitedly. Hell no are we having twins! I'm not giving birth to two! I can't have two babies before I'm 18, my life is ruined. "Amber?"
"I'll fucking kill you if it's two!"
"Two's better though!"
"Look I might not even be pregnant at all. I just think I am with the missed periods, sickness and stuff".
"Will I get a pregnancy test?"
"Would you mind?"
"Of course not, I'd be glad to". He kisses me multiple times then gets off the bed. "I'll be back soon, I love you Amber". He leaves quickly. I love you too Damian but what are we going to do with baby let alone two! I'm only 17 and he's only 18. Damn, our parents will disown me. What about my friends? They're going to want to stop hanging out with me; the slut who got knocked up at 17. Devon! Oh no, Devon's going to freak. It felt like an hour had passed when he came back but it was only ten minutes. I was going crazy as I waited. Damian sits back down beside me.
