"I won't, I'm just a bit annoyed at why Damian and you didn't tell me. I thought we were good friends".
"We are good friends, I just didn't want people knowing yet". He nods understandingly.
"Who knows?"
"You, Damian and I".
"That's it?" I nod. "When are you telling the others?"
"We're telling our parents tonight, but we were not going to tell you guys until I was showing".
"You're going to be getting big", he laughs.
"I know", I sigh. He laughs more and I smile at his laughing fit. I can imagine a little bump sticking out that will gradually get bigger and bigger. When do you get a baby bump? I'm seven weeks so I wonder if it'll be soon.
"I assume from the picture he drew that everything's okay between the two of you".
"Yeah everything's great, thankfully. I wouldn't be able to go through this without him".
"You wouldn't have to go through this if it wasn't for him".
"Well I'm glad this did happen".
"Good, you guys will be naturals". Yeah I think so too.
Damian's POV:
I was nervous going to lunch in case Paul had told everyone. Amber was sitting beside him and he had a space on the other side of him.
"Damian, sit here", Paul says. I sit beside him and look at Amber nervously. "Amber's already confirmed what I said".
"And that is?" I ask. I have to make sure we're talking about the right thing.
"About the baby", he whispers the last word.
"Am I in trouble?" I ask her.
"No, but no one else can know", she says. Paul and I nod.
"Congratulations man", he says, giving me a man hug then pats me on the back.
"Thanks", I say. After school Amber and I go home. Devon didn't go in my car, he went home with Simon and the others because he's not talking to either of us. He's still mad at us for not telling him. "You ready to tell our parents?"
"I think so", she says. She didn't sound too certain. When we get out I take her hand and squeeze it. We go inside and she starts to shake.
"Amber!" I ask with worry. "You sit down, I'll just do it while you relax".
"For getting pregnant and being a disgrace to you both", I say.
"You're not a disgrace, you've made your mother and I very happy", he says. Happy? But I'm seventeen!
"Come here Amber", she says, holding out her arms for me. I hug her and we have a family hug. "You'll never be a disgrace to us. You've made us the happiest expectant grandparents ever, we knew you guys would have one soon anyways because werewolves usually have kids young, especially the Alpha".
"You know we love kids and we've been wanting a grandchild for a while now", he says.
"A while, but I'm only seventeen", I say.
"I know but we don't mind you being young", she says. Well that was easier than I expected.
"We're here for you both and the new arrival and if you ever need a babysitter you know who to ask", he says.
"I think you're going to regret saying that", I say and they laugh.
Damian's POV:
My mother was upstairs with my Dad. I knock and let myself in.
"Hey Damian, can we help you?" he asks.
"I need to tell you something important", I say.
