"Okay, get Devon to go over there and demand for him to leave us alone. I don't need any of this right now, this isn't the time for Alec to be doing one of his little games," I hear Damian say.

"I'll tell him to go over now and get the matter sorted out. And what should I tell him to do if Alec refuses?" Jason asks.

"Tell him to beat the crap out of him. Devon could take Alec any day; he's the weakest Alpha in the whole school, no wonder he wants to be the strongest. I want three of you to go with him just in case they attack him all at once. I'm sure Devon could take them but just to be on the safe side I think you three should go too," Damian answers. A pair of hands on my waist makes me gasp in shock. I quickly turn around to face whoever was holding me.

"Shh, it's alright," Devon eases. "What are you doing out here listening in?"

"I just wanted to know what was going on," I reply.

"Some things are best not to be found out by you, Amber. Sometimes they should be kept a secret for your good," he convinces.

"I'm the Luna, I deserve to know what's going on with the pack," I protest.

"I know but it's better kept quiet to you because of your situation."

"Oh, so it's like, 'don't let the pregnant girl know', huh? That's not fair."

"No, it's not like that, Amber. I meant since you're pregnant you worry a lot and stress is bad for the mother and babies, you know that. So in order for you to not stress out, we don't tell you these types of things."

"But by not telling me it makes me fear and think the worst is happening. By not knowing what's going on just makes me more stressed."

"Look, after I go to Alec's pack house I'll explain to you what's going on if you just stay away from here and go to school with Ellen and the other girls. Agreed?"

"Okay, agreed." He gives me a weak smile and a rub on the back. I go back to my bedroom and get myself ready for school by having a shower, brushing my teeth and hair, putting a bit of make up on and getting dressed.

"Morning, Amber. I made you some breakfast," Mia greets with a big smile. Mia is a lovely girl; since she arrived I have become good friends with her again. The first night she arrived, she and I stayed up nearly all night catching up with the other girls while Devon and the boys celebrated him finding his mate by drinking. Stupid boys and their drinking habits; I bet they just used him finding his mate as an excuse to drink.

"Thanks, Mia. Do you have any idea what's going on out there?"

"That wasn't so hard now, was it?" Mia observes.

"No," I conclude. After finishing my breakfast the girls and I head to school. They all stayed close to me and kept an eye out on anyone who looked like they were watching me. This won't get annoying, note my sarcasm. Damian, Devon and a few others never turned up for school at all. I was starting to get really worried but Damian talked to me telepathically for a while during lunch saying that he hoped I was okay and that he'll see me at home. I can't wait till Devon tells me what's going on.

Amber's POV:

Before school started Mia told me that Damian would be in school unless there was trouble with Alec and since he didn't come into school today that must mean there was trouble. Devon needs to tell me what's going on or else I'll have to demand the answer off Damian. When I arrive home Devon was in the office with Damian. I knock on the office door and Damian answers it.

"Hey, baby, I've missed you," he beams, pulling me into a big hug.

"Yeah, yeah, now tell me what's going on?" I demand.

"Well, I guess someone didn't miss me back. Sweetie, I don't want you to worry so I'm not telling you."
