"I'll see you later, honey, I'm going shopping for the babies," she announces with a big grin.
"Mum, you don't have to."
"Of course I did, they're my grand-babies and I want to get them the cutest things, have fun at school."
"Okay but not a lot and nothing expensive, I know what you're like."
"Oh, I'm getting lots and it's going to be expensive but it's my money and you're not stopping me!" She blows me a kiss as she walks out the room so I start after her but I couldn't keep up with her since I'm so big.
"Dammit," I huff when I enter the dining room once again.
"Sit down and relax, baby, you need your rest," Damian commands, helping me sit down on the chair. I have to do this weird crouch to sit down on things now and it's annoying. But it won't be for much longer, like I said earlier, I only have ten week left. I can't wait to hold my babies in my arms and kiss them all the time. I'm going to dress them in the cutest things. "Are we ready to head to school?"
"Yes," I confirm, getting up. Damian takes my back and guides me up, then kisses the side of my head. I thank him and we walk out to the car. He helps me inside and he gets in beside me. "Baby, look."
"Gorgeous." He beams down at my belly that has one of the twins' feet sticking out. You can see the outline of their foot sticking out from my shirt and belly and at first I found it creepy when that happened but now I find it cute and perfect. "I wonder if it's my girl or boy."
"Whichever one of them it is can't wait to get the hell out of there."
"They're going to be a little footballer one day I think." He traces the outline and lays his hand on it. "You do know I love you so much, right?"
"I know, and I'll know forever. I love you too."
"Good, I'll make sure you always remember, I'll remind you every second of every day." The babies kick against his hand and I caress Damian's cheek. He leans in closer and kisses my nose. We rest our foreheads off each other and look into each other's eyes. Our lips are so near, the space needs to be broken. We close our eyes and kiss softly. "Darling, please be mine forever."
"There's no need to ask, I'm never leaving." He nuzzles his nose against mine then starts the car. Hannah, Rachel and Simon get in the back and we drive to school. On the way home, Simon and Hannah have another stupid fight. I don't know what about because I don't bother listening, I don't want to stress myself out. When we arrive home, they both storm out of the car, heading in different directions.
"Hannah, wait up," I call. She stops in her tracks to wait for me and I hug her tight. "You guys need to stop getting so mad about stupid things."
"You are and you will be when he returns," Damian asserts.
"But we fight so much and you two never fight," she says.
"So? You two are still perfect for each other, everything will be okay," I reassure.
"I have a bad feeling about this, something doesn't feel right, I want him to come home," Hannah mutters softly.
"Let's go inside and try help you to forget and relax," I suggest, taking her inside. We rest on the couch and watch a movie to get her mind off things but it wasn't working. "How about you talk to him mentally through the mate bond?"
"Good idea," she says, then obliges. "He's blocking me off so I can't talk to him. That's not good, he must be really mad."
"I can smell him, he's just entered the pack grounds," Damian tells. A few seconds later, Simon emerges from outside and looks sheepishly at Hannah, then, hides his face. Hannah gets off the couch from beside me and goes over to him. He was keeping his distance and refusing to look up at her.
