"Does she know this Gunner?" he asked.

I shook my head letting out a steady breath. "Then it is best that she never does. I can see that trying to convince you to accept Mindy as your Luna will be futile." he sighed in defeat.

"What are you going to do about this weekend then?" I asked, my heart skipping a beat.

"Go to plan B," he said. He stood, taking from his pocket a cell phone. Father shook his head as he placed the electronic unto his ear and waited for the other person to answer.

"I never thought we would have need for Plan B, ever," he replied before turning his back on me and quietly talking with the other stranger on the phone. "I never thought I'd have to call you old friend but believe it or not we have ourselves a Plan B on our hands," father said. He laughed casually as the other person on the line said a few words and hung up. "Well then it is settled," he replied.

"What in the world, might I ask is Plan B?"

"Plan B son of course is your replacement Luna. She will be staged and placed exactly under the full moon, with technology now a days we are able to pin point exactly where the moon will light at midnight. You will pretend to pick her scent, walk right up to her, and place the engagement ring on her hand, and that will be that," he said.

"What about Mindy?" I asked, my gut clenching in pity.

"Mindy will be fine, she will obviously always have a soft spot for you not knowing why, only a mated Luna knows her Alpha's scent," he replied.
