"What is it Jason?" Reece asked and I almost flinched from the tone of his voice. Only mere seconds ago his voice was playful and fun with no traces of anger but now his voice was scary. The four words boomed out loud full of authority and Jason immediately bowed his head to Reece. I moved myself closer over to where Michael was sitting and he tightened his grip on my wrist and shot me a reassuring smile.

"I'm so sorry to bother you Alpha, Luna." He said respectfully and then shot a dirty glare at Michael. I furrowed my eyebrows wondering why he would do that until I remembered that packs hates rogues. When he saw me sitting close to Michael, he shot me a dirty glare as well that caused a low growl to emerge from the back of Michael's throat and he shifted his weight so he was ready to stand up at a moment's notice.

Reece cleared his throat in an angry way which snapped Jason out of his hate trance and he bowed his head slightly once more before speaking up once again. "The packs patrol has found the scent of many rogues that have trespassed into our territory." He informed Reece.

Immediately Reece was on his feet discussing things that I wasn't sure about but everyone else seemed to understand. He was ordering for pack fighters to go out and meet the patrollers and a whole other bunch of gibberish.

"Is he going to kill them?" I asked Michael in a hushed voice, remembering what he had told me about rogues being killed immediately after found trespassing.

"No, Reece is one of the only alphas not kill rogues. I think me being one has influenced his decision, so he just locks them up." He replied equally quiet and still eyeing up Jason who kept glancing over at us every minute or so.

Locks them up? Just for crossing over into his land? Well, I suppose it's better than killing them on the spot, I thought to myself.

"Mikey, get our mates inside. The beta and Maddie's guards and a few extra will be at the house. You need to come with me and see if you know any of the mutts." Reece spoke. Michael's eyebrows scrunched together and his grip on my waist tightened.

"There's no way in hell I'm leaving Alana alone if rogues are stirring trouble." He said. His face was hard and his jaw was clenched tightly. Clearly rogues were a bigger deal than I had originally thought. After a silent conversation between the two males, Michael reluctantly let go of my waist.

"Maddie will give you a mobile that has my number on speed dial. The second something bad happens you call me immediately and you never let any guard leave the room. I always want the eight men around you and Maddie." I instructed looking stick and left no room for argument. Ii just nodded my head, still quite confused but understanding that these rogues could be a problem.

Michael let out a big sigh and ran his fingers through his hair then embraced me in a hug. I hugged him back, slightly worried from him stressing so badly about this.

"It will be fine." I assured him. "I'll call you the moment something is wrong, but that won't happen." I smiled gently up at him and he nodded, his eyes softening slightly. With one last squeeze of my waist, he was walking away with Reece to where ever they were headed.

"So you adapting to the idea of wolves?" Maddie asked me casually. By now the eight men were positioned about side the doors of the living room we were in and the front door and were hopefully not listening in on our conversations.

"Kind of," I shrugged. "I mean, the idea is fine but some things you guys do like kill. I just can't accept that as the right thing to do." I shrugged. "But Michael's alright. Sure we don't get along sometimes or he gets to protective but it's still alright." I explained.

Maddie nodded her head listening intently and looked deep in thought. "If you could stop it all and not be mates with Michael, would you?" she questioned deadly serious. I didn't speak for a moment. Would I?

"Depends if he did something horrible." I finally answered carefully. Maddie nodded and we continued our talk for the remainder of the time, completely forgetting about the rogues and just enjoying ourselves.

My stomach hurt and I felt as if my cheeks were going to fall off from being in so much pain. I was clutching my stomach as laughing so hard and Maddie was mirroring my actions.
