Maddie looked down before meeting my eyes again. "His really not doing too well. He has inflicted pain on himself from the silver in the bars and his wolf seems to be unstoppable. After he attacked me, we needed three wolves in wolf form and four in human form to get him into a cell. Since marking you his gotten more powerful from the alpha bloodline and the only reason Reece can beat him is because his a full alpha."
"That means his actually mated with me and got to this full potential where Michael hasn't. But he is still dangerous. Just please don't give up trying if he snaps at you. He may not know it but your bond didn't seem to break properly. He needs you more then you both know."
While she was talking we had started walking again and by the end we had reached the cells. I nodded and took in a deep breath. Maddie waited with the pack members outside and Reece led me through dimly lit concrete walls until we reached a door.
"His cell is in here, down the very back at the end and to the right." He nodded his head towards the heavy doors. His arms were crossed over his broad chest and he peered down at me.
"There are no guards as they makes him even more agitated. So no sticking any limbs through the bars for you own safety. Yell and I will be in there to help you right away. I'll be waiting outside the door. Good luck Alana."
I nodded and with that I pushed the door open and the nerves finally started up.
I peered around at my surroundings only to find that this block of cells were like the ones we were just walking in. The room was poorly lit and it was quite challenging to see in but I gazed into the cell at the far right corner and saw a small ball in the dim light.
I slowly made my way down the small isle I heard the low growling sound coming from the ball. I peered through the bars and just as Alpha Reece said so, Michael was there. In the far corner of the small cell, there he was. Michaels back was leaning against the concrete wall and his legs were spread with his hands resting on his knees. Swallowing down my nerves, I made my way closer
As soon as I made my way fully up to the bars, his head snapped and he looked at me. His eyes were bright red and I felt as if he was staring into my soul. He stayed on the ground but even with me towering above his sitting frame I still felt intimidated and scared of him.
None of us spoke but his low growling increased slightly and I couldn't help but worry from him.
The small mattress that once had been his bed had been shredded up and the metal frame was lying broken in pieces around him in large chunks.
There was a small metal toilet placed in the corner that looked in one piece and there was food scattered around the floor indicating that he hadn't been eating at all.
But Michael himself looked broken. I was expecting this but my imagination didn't provide me with enough detail on what he looked like. I felt shocked. Many fine cuts were all over his skin, covering his face and arms while huge black bags occupied the space under his eyes. His hair was sticking up everywhere and he was only wearing a pair of pants.
"Hey," I whispered quietly after the minute of silence. The growling turned louder once again but he remained silent. I curled my hand around the bar and looked in on him as he continued to stare at me with his glowing red eyes. He didn't say anything back to me.
Working up the courage, I turned and faced Michael. His eyes were still locked on the door as if he was waiting for someone to burst through the door with a machine gun on rapid fire. He subconsciously tightened his hold on my arm and I winced slightly.
"Michael," I whispered quietly which made his eyes snap to mine. "Your, you're hurting me." I quietly said. Instantly his grip loosened but his hand stayed firmly planted around my upper arm.
I had no clue what to say now to him so I just stared at him. It would have silent but the low growls were still coming from the back of his throat, telling me that his wolf was 100% in complete control. The human Michael was gone, and I promised myself I would bring him back, even if it took the rest of the year.
Even though he had cuts and bags, his hair was a mess and he looked like death, he somehow still managed to look absolutely breath taking.
"I, I need to m-make sure you're o-okay." I whispered in a stutter as I looked the ground, all the sudden feeling extremely nervous. Maybe it was the knowledge that his wolf was in control or maybe it was from me being a complete coward.
He snarled at me once again showing off his k nines and I tried to take a step back again but his grip stayed firmly holding me in place. I found the courage to stare into his bright red eyes willing myself not to back down. No progress will be made if I am submissive.
"Is your wolf completely in control?" I asked with what I'm hoping was a confident voice. Through the small growl that seemed to be permanently stuck in his throat he nodded his head slightly.
