I nodded my head. "I heard about you attacking Maddie," I quietly told him. "I know that wasn't you. It was your wolf." I said while looking into the glowing red. "Michael I know you there," I practically whispered while I searched his eyes for something, anything giving me an indication.

All I got though was a louder growl and he released my arm before walking into the middle of the cell. We both watched each other as he moved backwards and I absent mindly reached up to rub where his hand had been squeezing.

Another snarl was released as he looked at my action and he was instantly back at the bars and reaching out for me. Since I had never taken the steps back his hand was once again grabbing my arm but this time it was gentle and soothing to the slight pain from the harsh grip.

He rubbed it for me with a frown etched onto his handsome face, his eyes not leaving where he was touching. I sighed in content, his touch feeling like bliss and I leaned into his touch which made his growling come to a stop. We were plunged into silence for a few moments, just enjoying the intimate moment.

Eventually Michael stopped rubbing my arm and I look a small step back creating distance between the two of us. His arm was reached out through the space between the bars but it slowly dropped back down to his side when he realised he couldn't reach me, the frown not leaving his face.

"So," I said breaking the silence. I made my way over to the wall and sat down with my back leaning against it like how Michael was when I first saw him today.

"Have you been eating?" I asked him while looking in front of me. I already knew the answer due to all his food lying on the ground untouched but I needed him to talk to me. I figured if I got him to talk, he would eventually come back to his human self and his wolf won't be in control.

"You should eat," I said in the one sided conversation. "You once told me that skipping meals isn't healthy for you. You gain weight, have low energy and gives you low blood sugar." I informed him. A small frown appeared on my face as I imagined Michael having low energy. Apart from when his just woken up, his ready to conquer the world and I couldn't picture him any other way.

"I also don't want you to get sick. I know that we didn't end well Mikey, but I still care for you. I think a little part of me always will." I wasn't saying this for his benefit. It was true.

I heard him slide down the wall so we were sitting next to each other in the dim room, only the bars were in between us. I looked over at him and he was holding a piece of bread that I noticed lying on a pile on top of rice or something when I walked in. It looked reasonably clean and I couldn't help but grin when he ripped a small chunk off and put it into his mouth and chewed it slowly.

After he finished his first bight, he looked over at me and seemed happy by my grinning reaction so he ate the rest of the bread with his face still passive.

"Did you want some more food? I'm sure I can go and get you some more," I said while going to stand up but his rough hand gently grabbed my arm and prevented me from going. Still not saying anything he shook his head saying he didn't want me to go. "Maybe later," I suggested which he nodded his head to.

That's how we sat for the next hour. In complete silence sitting on the ground next to one another with the bars in between us. We kept our hands to ourselves but every now and then Michael would reach up and touch my hand with his as if he were making sure I really came to him.

"Answer me!" he shouted loudly making me flinch and take a step back. His eyes were still bright red and glowing and they only seemed to glow brighter when I nodded my head.

Michael's hands shot to his head and he hunched over and let out a groan squinting his eyes closed tight. He looked in pain and I was beyond worried for him.

Just as I was about to take a step towards him, Reece hooked and arm around my waist to prevent me from going closer to him. Keeping his arm firmly around my waist I was trapped not being able to move spots and be closer to Michael.

The action only caused Michael to become more agitated and angrier and I could only watch helplessly as the situation unfolded.

K nines were extracting and his hands were turning into claws. I couldn't help but notice the body hair growing on his arms, face and chest as he grunted in pain. A loud howl shocked me to my core as Michael started to shift.

The hairs on my arms stood up as I took a small step back into Alpha Reece's protection. We were all breathing heavily, but I could only watch helplessly as Michael slowly start to lose control.
