Chris
I was so excited when I saw Vincent walk out of their house, filled with sadness. I of course had a camera fixed there to see the drama. However, I couldn't fix it inside and actually I didn't want to: I hate seeing her close to someone else and that would have been a felony; that is, exploitation of right to privacy anyway.
I knew this was the time to attack. Lara probably told everything to him, he is the most vulnerable right now.
I went to their house in my car, making sure Vincent isn't around. I rang the doorbell.
"Chris?" Ash opened the door and I just went inside and she closed it. "What are you doing here?"
"We have to do it now!"
"What? No!"
"Think clearly, Ash. He was behaving weirdly. We need to do this now so that we can know the truth"
"Yeah... uh wait. How do you know he was behaving weirdly?"
"Uh... well..." I stuttered.
"Uh... he set it up to take care that Vincent doesn't hurt you!"
I smiled at her. She has learned really well. "Yeah, correct"
"O...kay" Ash looked quite suspicious. "Well, anyway... are you sure this is the correct time?"
"Yes, it is," I replied.
"Do you think the same?" Ash asked Lara, to which she nodded yes.
"okay" she sighed. "See, whatever, you must stay away from me"
"Yeah but... for the acting part, we can't be away"
she sighed loudly. "ugh! okay!"
I smiled. This is the moment I have been waiting for. We will be together, and Vincent will burn in jealousy and 'betrayal'. Oh my, I am so excited!
Well, I never planned for him to get hurt, but apparently, he is the one standing between us, so I have no other way.
"okay, then... What should we do?" she asked me. I took her hand.
"Ms. Lara, please stay here and if Vincent comes and asks for Ash, tell him that she found a new lover"
"WHAT" Ash got her out of my grip. "That will make me look bad!"
"No, it won't. because after that, she will tell him to come meet me, where we will force the truth out of him, okay?"
She groaned. "Uhh! I am not having a good feeling about this"
"Doesn't matter, come on!"
She nodded and I took her hand. I shared a last glance with Lara to make sure everything is fine, and then took off with Ash.
"I should just ask him!" she groaned. "It would have been better"
"And he would have told you? Sure, he would have if he didn't do that. But if he did, would he accept it?"
She was rendered speechless at my words. Even after everything, she can think that he can do something like that: it really makes me wonder about their love and trust.
Well, I don't care, because it only helps me. The more weak their love is, the more benefit I have.
She nodded. "okay"
I nodded back and took her hand. "So are you ready?"
"Yeah... maybe"
I smiled and then went inside. Her hand in mine felt nice. I took her inside and then we sat on the sofa in the living room.
"What happened?" I asked her, as she looked sad. I knew exactly what the reason was, but I wanted to see her response.
"Nothing... uh... just headache"
I pulled her head closer and then rested it on my chest. "It is gonna be alright, I am here"
"Hm" she whispered and scooted closer.
Maybe this could mean something.
