"How do you even know about them?"

"You don't think that I am just a man on the streets who has no connections with anyone and can't find anything on his own, do you?"

"Look, Chris" I looked at him. "I don't know if you know or not, but they died for me that day"

"No. No, Ash. Listen, they are the ones who gave birth to you. I talked to them. They have realised their mistakes--"

"What do you even know about me and them? Do you know what they did!?" I was freaking out. He is here, acting like he knows every damn thing about my life.

"Yeah I do," he sighed. "and I am sorry for that. But you need to understand that humans make mistakes--"

"You know what, Chris" I scoffed. "Just don't interfere in my life"

"Ash. I am correct, you know that"

"All I know is that my parents, my life and my love life have just no connections with you! You shouldn't be concerned with who I date, who I love, where my parents are, if they are out or they wanna talk, like get the fuck out of my life! How much disrespect do you want now!?" I almost yelled. 

He scoffed. "Disrespect, huh?"

"Yes!"

"Did you forget who I am? Do you think that Vincent is the most powerful man? You are wrong, Ash'' he clicked his tongue. "You will pay for this"

"Pay for what and how?" I asked him.

He laughed. "You'll know"

I just looked at him and he smirked. I didn't like his intentions. Why did he come just after Vincent left? Was it planned? If Vincent was here, he would have killed him! but see! I can't even talk to Vincent. I can't tell him that he is threatening me this way.

He turned out and went out of my house while I stood there stunned. What will he do now? he wouldn't do anything serious, right? I have no idea what he is gonna do.

But I don't feel guilty. I couldn't have done anything. I can't betray Vincent no matter what. Never. I will die but cheating on him? never.

I went back to my seat and sat down on the couch with a thud. I should rather think about Lara now. She is gonna come tomorrow and that is what matters now. I will enjoy it with her. I shouldn't worry about him because he is just some CEO and he cannot do something that could hurt me.

Oh, who am I fearing for? Vincent is the Mafia boss of the biggest Mafia business. He fears no one. I literally forgot that behind the sweet side of him.

I wanted to distract myself, so I started cooking something.

The next day

I hurriedly took the taxi to her house. I was already in Los Angeles and was so excited to meet her. I couldn't believe that it was finally happening. I was gonna see her and spend time with her.

"Sure" he smirked. I was suspicious about him. "Where is Ashley?" I asked him.

"Doesn't matter"

"Tell me!"

He came to me and took my chin with his thumb. "You don't know who you are dealing with"

"W-Who are you?"

He smirked. "you are gonna help me get what I want"

"What?" I asked. My blood was already boiling.

"Ashley"

"She is married!" I yelled. Yeah, maybe I don't know what happened between them but I hate the way he is talking and also he should have some shame because she is married.

"She is not"

"She was married in front of my eyes!"

"Oh yeah?" He laughed. "Well, then she is divorced"

"How are you so sure? Did you talk to her?"
