Chapter 400 – Highlight Chapter from Rich Radiant and Over Him (Alicia and Vincent)
Chapter 400 is a standout chapter in Rich Radiant and Over Him (Alicia and Vincent) by Laura, where the pace intensifies and character dynamics evolve. Rich in drama and tension, this part of the story grips readers and pushes the Romance narrative into new territory.
A few of the trust fund kids exchanged glances, silently reading each other before bursting into smiles and standing up to shower compliments.
“Mr. Lynch!”
“We’ve heard Natalia mention you so many times, but we never expected you to be this good-looking!” The flattery came in waves, each of them trying to outdo the last. One of them, a guy named Scales, gave a subtle signal to the group of girls dancing up front.
In an instant, several girls sashayed over, glasses in hand.
“To you, Young Master Easton. Cheers!”
Easton was distracted, his mind working through how to let slip just enough to be convincing, but not so much that he’d lose control of the situation later.
Before he could decide, one of the girls “accidentally” spilled her drink on him.
“Oh my God, I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to!” The girl looked on the verge of tears as she grabbed some napkins and started dabbing at his shirt.
She was clearly milking the moment, using the excuse to wipe at his abs, even pulling up his shirt to blot underneath.
Easton, hopelessly innocent—he’d never even dated anyone—turned bright red and instinctively tried to pull away.
To the trust fund crowd, though, that was all the proof they needed: he was flustered by the attention.
Scales strolled over, grinning.
“Easton, not bad, huh? She’s from the dance academy next door. What do you think?”
Easton’s first instinct was to shut it down, but after a moment’s thought, he realized that playing along might actually be easier to manage.
He could handle this.
“If you like her, she can keep you company tonight,” Scales murmured in his ear with a sly smile, watching Easton’s blush deepen.
“Don’t say that,” Easton muttered, his face burning. “If I really liked someone, I’d actually want to get to know her first.”
The girl, who was supposed to be seducing Easton, was momentarily stunned. She knew these guys’ usual behavior all too well, so running into someone as guileless as Easton was honestly… shocking.
The others roared with laughter.
“Easton, you’re too much! If you like her, just go for it. Who cares about all that ‘getting to know her’ stuff? You planning to marry her or something?”
