It has errors guys. Ugh

"My name is Rasco Truscetta. I am from Russia, and you have brought it to my attention that you require my services?" I nod, taking removing a picture of Dain from my purse to show the rugged man. He was nothing that I had imagined him to be, there was no long trench coat, and grey fedora, there was simply jeans and a maroon faded T-shirt. You would've never suspected him in the crowd.

"My name is-"

"Ocean Devila, I know. But I would rather get to know you a lot less Ms. Devila." He says, and I nod. "I am a retired member of the FBI service, and now I help others with my intelligence. I do want to know though. What exactly do you need?"

"I'm looking for my ex-boyfriend's murderer." He nods, not seeming surprised.

"Isn't that the police's job?"

"Well, the case was dropped suddenly. It's all very suspicious, and although he wasn't a very good man-"

"In what way?" He raises an eyebrow and I help.

"I- well he..." come on ocean." He used to abuse me," I state and Rascos eyes go soft. He clears his throat

"Go on"

"Well, some things I find suspicious is that after I went to his house to get the rest of my stuff, and there was an odd watch that he definitely never wore, it wasn't his, now also Dain was an extremely posh and conscious man, his house was spotless and his furniture never had a scratch, dent or pick, but yet when I entered his study room, his table that he rarely made me enter had a bunch of scratches on it, seemingly done by a knife." Rasco was writing this down, his eyebrows furrowed.

"Is there anything else that may help?" I shake my head, trying to rack my brain. "Did Dain ever tell you he was in any sort of trouble...With the law? With the wrong crowd?" I shake my head once again.

"He would never put himself in scandalous or unethical acts outside of his home that people may eventually find out about."

"What about the abuse?" He crosses his arms and I let out a weak laugh.

"Dain practically installed into my head that no one would listen to.me, and if anyone did he had enough power to ruin them and me. And then he dug hid point by taking away something that will forever keep me up and might." I whisper the last part, and Rasco shifts, looking a bit uncomfortable.

"The last question, is there anyone you suspect?" I was about to shake my head, keyword, about. Why did I stop? Trevor's name flashed my head and I find myself having an internal battle as the three-letter word leaves my mouth.

"Yes."

"Ocean." I jump, spinning around to find blonde hair. A smile sneaks up on my face.

"Mark?" It was an hour after I left Rasco, deciding I need some time for myself as I went to a coffee shop, near my apartment.

"Small world right? Long time no see, have you been hiding?" He pulls out a chair and I resist the urge to frown.

Sure, invite yourself why don't cha.

"Actually," I pause. "I've started college again, been a bit busy with the studies."

"Really? You said the last time that you wanted to be a therapist is that still your choice?"

"It is actually, I should be done by the end of this year."

"But that's only a few months away?" He furrows his eyebrows and I shrug.

"I didn't give myself the date."

"Here's your order, to go." The waiter says, handing me my soup and biscuits and I thank him.

"Well, I should get going," I state standing.

"Wait, how about your number?" He asks and I frown.

"My number?" Something about this guy was just nudging at me wrongly.

"Thanks, you didn't have to" I murmur, taking it from his hands and he shrugs, shoving his hands in his pocket.

"I'm really sorry about yesterday. I should've have snapped at you like that." I wave it off, placing the soup on my dresser table, and pushing my hair back. The cold wind suddenly reminded me that I was inappropriately dressed, in a huge white t-shirt that rested on my thighs, and no bra so my nipples perked with the cold.

"It's f-fine." I shrug it off, trying to act normal.

"It isn't." He says taking a seat next to me and my breath hitches at how close we were. He gently takes my chin, forcing me to look at him. "I would never hurt you. Not physically, nor emotionally."

He spoke with so much intensity that I found myself nodding, unable to look away.

One breath later his lips were on mine.

I didn't resist. No, I wanted it.

Maybe, it was the heat he offered, maybe it was the skin he showed, but I found myself kissing back with all my might. He moved so that he crawled over me a bit, slowly allowing me to fall back onto the bed.

I wasn't thinking. No, thinking wasn't fun at all. I let my body take over as he tugged at my shirt. I gasp as he leaves my mouth to pull down at the neck of the t-shirt and nip on the soft flesh of skin.

"Trevor..." I whisper, not knowing what to say as he let his hands melt into my skin.

"Mm." He hums, lowering himself onto me, and I let out a small whine, feeling the need build up. I reach out to remove my shirt, only for my hands to go knocking the bowl, for soup to go flying everywhere.

We abruptly stop, my nostrils filling with the scent of pumpkin. Trevor closes his eyes before moving off of me, a small chuckle leaving his lips.

He stands without a word and opens the door.

"Goodnight Ocean." And with that, he's gone.

So we just gone act like he didn't leave me here to clean up the soup by myself?
