I said in a low shaky voice, "No." My wolf was howling and clawing and then I decided to check her room to see if she was there and not... I gulped at the thought. I ran up the stairs quickly and went to her door. It doesn't take a genius wolf to know which is her bedroom because it's filled with her scent. I checked her bathroom, kitchen, everywhere.

She's gone. I growled at the thought of someone daring to kidnap my mate. I mindlinked everyone, "Meeting and the pack house now." I quickly went back to my car and drove to the pack house. When I reached there, I found everyone in the foyer. I went up the stairs the stairs of the foyer and yelled, "SILENCE!" All of them quickly shut up and I was about to tell them Riley was kidnapped when the front door slammed open.

It was Miranda. She was panting heavily and sweating. Then she ran to me and said, "Alpha, Riley was kidnapped by a rogue." Everyone gasp. I was a bit suspicious on how she knew Riley was kidnapped and asked her. "How did you know she was kidnapped?" Miranda said, "I ran to her house to talk about-" She hesitated and continued, "my mate rejecting me." I looked at her in shock and asked her, "Who is your mate Miranda?" She just shook her head and said, "He'll remain nameless Alpha." I nodded at her and said, "What happened after that?"

She replied, "We were just talking when her front door broke down. Riley went to see who it was. I knew it was a rogue from his scent and then she turned to me pointed to the back door at the kitchen and mouthed 'run and get help.' I only just got out of the door when I heard him say he was looking for me. I don't know why he was if you were wondering Alpha. I also caught his name but only his surname. I think he said... Slater."

A growl erupted in the crowd and I looke at who growled at saw it was Ryan. He came up to Miranda and said, "Mine." And embraced her. She growled at him and stepped out of his embrace and glared at him. He whimpered and was about to say something when I cut in and said, "Do you know who this Slater is?" He sighed and nodded.

"A few weeks ago, our Alpha met his mate but then she got kidnapped by Luke Slater. He is-was- Alpha of the Blue Moon Pack but now he's a rogue. I don't know why he's a rogue. A few

days later, we got a letter saying that since they already have the Alpha's mate, they wanted the beta's mate which is me because they wanted our pack. I didn't have a mate back then but when we came here, I found Miranda and knew she was my mate but I didn't want her to get kidnapped so I rejected her."

Miranda yelled, "Have you ever thought what might've happened to me after you rejected me?! I don't think so. If you rejected me, which you did, then it'll be easy to capture me without you protecting me! Have you ever thought of that dumbass!"

Suddenly it dawned at him and he said, "I didn't realized that could happen." Miranda glared at him and said, "Look what happened Ryan. I bet you didn't care if I was kidnapped did you? I wish I was now because Riley was kidnapped and who knows what pain she's going through!"
