After I think about an hour or two, someone unlocked my jail cell door. I looked up and saw it was Luke.

He smirked at me and said, "Do you like the pain?" I growled at him and said, "A warrior never shows any pain." He just chuckled and squated infront of me.

He moved my hair which was covering my mark and he looked shocked at the sight of it. Then he turned to me while smirking and said, "Why you didn't tell me you have a mate Riley and an Alpha at that too. I think we're good enough with the the Dark Shadow Pack's Luna. You know, I was actually really curious on who is Danny's mate and lookie here! I found her and it happens to be you. Well now I can also take over the midnight pack as well. I hope the pain from your mate will hurt you as it did me."

I growled at him and said, "What the hell did I ever do to you jerkface?!" He slapped me and shouted, "What did you do?! Hah! You were the one who told Cherry's dad that I was fucking other girls! Then her dad told my dad and he was furious! I lost my title because of you! You stupid bitch! Now Cherry's dead and it's all your fucking fault!"

He kept slapping me and punching when he said this but after he said that last line, I saw tears in his eyes. After a while, he stopped hurting me and just stood up to glare at me.

I pitied him because he missed Cherry but then it changed into rage because he blamed me for her death! Did I accept her as a mate just to see her in pain?! Did I fuck other people just to please myself?!

HELL NO!

I shouted at him, "How is it my fault?! You were the one who hurt her and it's your fucking fault! She loved you! She told me that even though it hurts, she would do anything to keep you happy! She even cut herself to dull the pain! So don't go crying it was my fault! She died when she was only 18 and I was 13! I hope the pain hurts because you deserve it you fucking dick!

His eyes turned black. He was about to slap me when someone slammed the door open and said, "Alpha! The Midnight Pack and Dark Shadow Pack have invaded our teritory!"

My heart thumped. I can't believe it. Danny is rescuing me. But...

Danny's POV

When we were about to reach our destination, a horrific pain hit me. I fell down and whimpered. "Mate. She's hurt. Need mate." James said to me. God this pain is a pain in the ass. All I wanted to do was go to sleep but I couldn't. I needed to make sure my mate is safe and by my side.

I quickly stood up and walked shakily. It still hurts but I didn't care because I needed to save Riley. Aaron looked at me with concern but I just shook my head and walked forward. While walking, I realized it was quiet.

Too quiet.
